I remember when Edelman was arrested; he was dressed at Lt. Gangle from Reno 911, and Thomas Lennon warned against anyone else wearing that costume, saying weird shit just happens and trouble finds you.
Do you mean Dangle?
@@nasis18Lt. T. Dangles.😂
New boot goofin 👢😂
I remember this too. Listening to the Boston radio media at the time, it seemed to be a CERTAINTY that the Patriots were going to release him as the story went, this kind of thing had zero upside for the Patriots. Edelman was an instantly popular player after his rookie preseason punt housing. It's famously shown in Belichicks Football Life episode. BB asks Welker if he's ever heard of Wally Pipp right after. However; Edelman was down in the depth charts behind Welker and others at WR. He was a special teamer and the fans did recognize him but, I recall thinking he was gone after this too. However; BB didn't cave to any pressure and he kept him. Thank Goodness. Now he's a guy people make documentaries about.
Most Jordan thing ever is telling someone he put money on you the first time he met somebody
😂😂😂😂😂 I’m fucking ded dude
Remember hearing a rumor a long time ago that Jordan was kicked outa the league for gambling on games and that’s why he went to play baseball 😂😂😂 makes all the sense in the world
@@drunkenmmamaster419it looked better than suspending their star player 😂
EDELNUT!!!!!!!
Google translates it to PREVIOUS!!!!!!
Edelman had a pretty solid career for a qb who was drafted and didn’t play qb.
A Giants fan making a video about a Patriot … love it
And he also took time to wish my cousin a happy Bar Mitzvah. (For reference he is a huge Patriots fan, loves Edelman, and Tom was way too expensive to get.)
That’s dope
Yea, because yall paid him.
Jews finally got finessed
jeez, how forgotten can you get to be picked lower than brady and still be a super bowl mvp?
His peak moment outside of that superbowl catch was that consecutive third and long, down the middle that Tony Romo kept on calling in that Chiefs OT game
Edelman really is the textbook example of a guy that "worked his way up".
Guy played on every side of the ball, gave 100% & never complained.
He is exactly what it means to be a New England Patriots.
There's not many players, ifa any, like him.
Nobody ever gives this man his credit. Pats dynasty wouldn't be what it was without him. Julian Edelman is a legend and deserves his respect.
I am not a pats fan, but I loved watching Edelman play.
Introducing yourself to Mike, him knowing who you are, and him having money on you in the biggest game… what a surreal moment that had to have been.
Aye yo, no shoutout to his massively growing podcast Games With Names?!?!?! Cmon baldy.
After the stuff Edelnut said on podcasts, and after the Johnny Manziel on club Shay, I understand Johnny for wanting to be a QB, but Edelman was willing to compromise and flourished because of it. Sometimes pride is your worst enemy.
Even as a life long falcons fan when he caught that ball in the Super Bowl I was so impressed and pissed off at the same time lol knew it was over right there. I hated watching every second of that replay but could totally appreciate its difficulty away by it lol
Yessir an Edelman video!!! He was always my favorite
MiniTron Squirrel
Edelman is the ultimate example of hard work overcoming lesser talent.
Welker was probably more physically talented in every way.
Edelman was WAY more mentally tough than Welker.
Bro said "COMPETENESS" 😂😂😂
HAHA
There wasn’t really a downturn in his career. He was elite whenever he was on the field, and once he realized his body was beginning to fail he hung it up. He never tried to hang on to fading glory like many other pros do.
The pause after saying 28-3 was great
He's a hall of famer, I don't care what nobody pulls up the stats. He has playoff records, he has one of if not the most amazing catch in the history of the NFL, and he was one of the best competitors to play WR in the superbowl era. Dude was a legend, and not a single fan of all 32 teams wouldn't want him on their team if he was a free agent in his prime.
All the shmucks people compare him to stat wise don't hold a candle to the moments that made him famous, thats why its the Hall of Fame not the Hall of Stats.
Dang dude, hall of fame, not hall of stats. That's a good line. Going to use that one for sure, thanks.
Dude he isn’t one of the greatest receivers ever he wasn’t even top 10 top 15 most of his season he was a hell of a player but the hall of fame is for the greatest players of all time he just isn’t one of those he is like the Robert horry of the nfl he showed up in the big moments played his role perfectly he should make the pats wall of fame not the nfl hall of fame
@@evansim-spence6504 "buh buh buh the stats buh buh buh" Hall of FAME bud. FAME.
@@jeo228 You say that like the hall of fame voters don't look at stats as part of the equation, they in fact do, as stats are an important part of the judgement process as it removes the innate bias of humans.
Stats are also crucially important for skill positions specifically to get into the hall of fame as that's the best way to objectively gauge their impact on the field compared to other players of that position both in their time, and all time.
As a Patriots fan who is also shorter than 6 feet, this guy is my freakin hero. Much love for this man and all he's accomplished
Love this guy!
You forgot about his accomplishment of being a social media sensation by being photographed sleeping while a girl posted it with the caption: "Just f-ked Edelman, no lie."
Forgot to mention that Alex ‘call her daddy’ Cooper used to siphon the jizam out of his crank.
Here after you promo'd this on Dumpster Fire. My favourite Pats player who isn't Tom Brady or Richard Seymour.
I remember that catch against falcons clutch
And a hell of a ball player
His podcast is stellar
8:23-that gets a "Dam Son"..
3:13 Bro is way too funny
He was also one of the few Jewish players of his era, always gotta root for my tribe!
That trick play to Dola was money
Edelman was so truly amazing. He is 100% a hall of famer
With what Julien did on the field, I'd say he isn't qualified for HoF. BUT! With everything else he has done with football since. I'd say a few more years of this and he deserves it then for the total body of work.
If Eli Manning if HoF then Edelman is
Edelmania still runs wild in New England
Edelman catch was better than David Ty catch. Both were great but the hand eye coordination that was needed for that catch is crazy.
Dude I was wearing raycons while watching at the sponsor
The Flying Squirrel is my all-time favorite Patriot. Even more than Big Vince.
tom, jules, and gronk will always be one of the most underrated super bowl trios of all time
the one obvious question being would his stats had looked the same elsewhere or without brady
that catch made up for the Tyreek Hill catch, which is still the most unfathomable catch in the history of catches of anything a human being has ever caught.
JUUUULLLEESSSS!
I’m a huge pats fan so I remember when we drafted him n we traded moss I was so confused how this lil dude was gonna be able to hold up man was I wrong lol😂😭
It was the greatest catch.
Forgot to mention he took Jerry Rice daughter to prom and even had the audacity to wear Jerry’s superbowl ring
EDELNUT
I think Kurt Warner's story is more improbable.
I was a Welker guy. Like most football fans, I enjoyed the pats run until the cheating accusations. I rooted for them before that. Julian came after so I couldn't stand anyone on that team then.
So you just gotta juice and be a prick to succeed. ;)
He is a Hall of Famer
He has a son named froggy fresh
Let's not knock Kent State. That's also Jack Lambert's alma matter
I don't want to hear any talk of Julian Edelman in the hall of fame until Hines Ward, Steve Smith, Reggie Wayne, and Torry Holy make it in.
along with Willie McGinnest (most career playoff sacks) and Charlie Waters (most career playoff interceptions)
Should he be in the HOF? No. but top 5 in playoff receiving yards and SB MVP he has a case for it. End of the day he is hall of very good. also one of the toughest guys ive seen
What does it even say in the tumb nail
I'm a Falcons fan, so I don't really care about him (fill in your random 28-3 jokes here). But I respect his game. Can you imagine being told that by MJ, though?! Jordan just cements himself as a straight-up gangster saying that to him. No pressure at all 😅
FU AND the Giants
8:23, the greatest Super Bowl catch belongs to Santonio Holmes.
What about the helmet catch by David Tyree? Or the manningham catch on the sideline? Buggin
Not a HOFer
He'll make it to the Hall of Fame.
The Jewish Sports Hall of Fame.
What??
@@TexasNationalist1836 Yep, that exists and its located in Israel
@@ajburrr why not the NFL HOF tho
@@TexasNationalist1836 because Willie McGinest (most career playoff sacks) and Charlie Waters (most career playoff interceptions) are currently not HOFers. It has been proven that the NFL HOF is a regular season club
Not a football fan if that was the most boring Super Bowl of all time
It definitely was. I’m 72 and watched every one…can’t think of one more boring 🤔
You forgot, he dated Jerry Rice daughter
So what is this guy actually like
Thanks for the new perspective on Julian Edelman. Sounds like a roid aholic. As a player he's awesome as a person hopefully he's changed from the things he's been accused of.
Personally I believe he's a Hall of Famer, his statistics may not be mind blowing! Yet he always produced steady stats, being a reliable "slot" WR. Then that catch in Super Bowl! That should be known as "the catch".
This is going to be a highly unpopular opinion, but I don't think anyone with a known history of PED use should be eligible for the NFL hall of fame.
You brought it up because it's important for some reason, but: If I move to ethiopia tomorrow, that wouldnt make me Ethiopian. But if I convert to Judaism tomorrow I would be a jew. Just the same: so what if jules is a jew?
Gotta love how money just makes all the bad things you did dissappear so you can look like a golden goose
The same Patriots fans who think Edelman is a Hall of Famer are also the Brady fans who cry "No weapons!" whenever Brady is criticized.
Patriots fan here, love Jules. He ain't a hall of famer, and Brady absolutely carried a weak offensive roster for years. Tom Brady was an All-Pro in '16 with Julian Edelman, Danny Amendola, and fucking Chris Hogan. Conversation over.
How couldn't you call Julez catch not best in sb.... Like get out ND giants helmet catch is two it's bens Steelers corner throw to Santana....
Not hof.
Julian is my second favorite player of all time. Honestly he may be above Tom even.
Hope he finds his spot in the hall one day. Hell of a career.
I couldn't stand this dude when he played in the NFL. Always roid-raging and bailing out Tom Brady on third and slants.
When Julian get induced MJ should do he's speech
8:22 I still think Edelman’s catch was better than that one
He also got fined $4,000,000 for PEDs.
my second favorite nfl player of all time (only to tom brady)
Easily one of my favorite WR of all time, first ballot Hall Of Famer!
Pretty random? For an NFL player to beat up a woman? Pretty sure that’s half the league. And charges dropped means “paid off”.
It's amazing what PEDs will do for you.
Kind of sounds like a piece of shit off the field to me
A raider fan but this guy is a a hall of famer best catch and best catch in sb history 🫡
How's the ex wife?
Edelcatch > Helmet Catch
Greatest slot/playoff/Superbowl WR🐿😮💨💯
#HOF
#CantonBounds💯
NYG 4 liiiiife. Phuck the pats and Edelbrock 🎉😂
6-11 for life
"But like every guy under 6 feet on a dating site, he wasn't that desired."
I feel attacked.🥲🤣
