Hi Dereck, I don't consider having the ashes of your brother weird, or morbid. My mom passed away this February, and my 2 sisters & I all have an urn with some of our moms ashes, as well, we all have either a neclace with a lockett or a bracelet with a small portion of our moms ashes inside. I find it soothing. I however, am a Christian and believe in heaven although of course not everyone feels the same. I hope that you find peace in this season, especially around the anniversary of his passing. I believe that you and my late dad share a birthday as my moms birthday was July 7th. Thanks for sharing. Because of you paying you own it. They won't like that so then no one pays but the city. Unfortunately, you are right about the Rich and Powerful. They are hurting the poor people and people of color just fucked up. But it is getting all of it's fucking sucks. Keep telling the truth. Take care of yourself Dereck. That's why I love music it heals and lets us forget things for just a little bit. Taking walks hanging out with family and friends and reading. Watching TV and movies. Helps me to reconnect and rethink things. It refreshes the mind.

You might have to rent a jack-hammer and just break it up. Depending on how much needs to be replaced, it might not take that long and, thus, not too expensive for the equipment rental.
So unfair to stick homeowners with the bill for the sidewalk. That's infrastructure; the city should take care of that.

I bought a 1st pressing of Kind Of Blue on Discogs a few years ago. It was overpriced, very scratchy, and still smells like weed.😑Lesson learned.
