That Peter Green album is great, and Zoot’s first two solo albums are worth checking out too. It’s interesting to hear Peter Green’s personal account of the Munich incident, as it is very different to Fleetwood Mac’s. Pretty much everything that they claim happened after Munich has already been proven to have been in motion some time before! Hendrix, the Stones and many other musicians had hung with the same Munich crew and came away unscathed from it. Green claims the jam there in Munich was the most spiritual music he’d ever played. The singles (2 in total) from the same period are also great, ‘Heavy Heart’ especially! Thanks again Derek, superlative information and content as ever!
I absolutely love that Manfred Mann album. I just purchased a still sealed copy last week as an upgrade copy. They sounds like early King Crimson meets Chicago Transit Authority meets Dr John. I listen to a lot of jazz and I dig the horns and flute. "Sometimes" is a chill psych number that somehow fits in nicely. Highly recommend it.

You spent money on vinyl this month? Perish the thought! I've been buying weird unknown (to me) CDs at my local GW store lately - they just keep popping up. Lots of what I call trippy new age - good for late-night or early morning hightimes.... 😵💫 Also found a Stephan Mikes' CD, "Before You See" - great sitar instrumentals for psychedelic devotions! ...That Early Morning Sunshine LP you scored looks very interesting! ...I think I have that Peter Green record on CD...
That Mandred Mann is killer and pretty cheap heat really. Can be found for $10. Did you mention the track "One Way Glass"? maybe you did. Amazing track. I have the other album on Vertigo which is also quite good but needs a revisit. Love that Peter Green lp and the oh Sees. The End of the Game was pretty out of step with the times to me. An instrumental trippy guitar album that walks the line between jazz and blues and something else? Very interesting.

"One Way Glass" was my other favorite too. I've heard a demo or BBC recording of it to which sounded way different in a good way.
