    Aria is also tri-athlete friendly. Don’t ask. It is what it is.
    Also, Aria comes in a more attractive (affordable) price point

    Some mistakes here
    Aria is cheaper than xr4.
    Aria is aero 'inspired', probably not really tested in the wind tunnel but just borrow the shapes from the higher end aero bikes. It also does not have countervail and has a lower grade of carbon.
    Xr 4has a different fork from xr3.
    Xr4 also has countervail, xr3 does not.

      1) yes XR4 is expensive than Aria, maybe my words were misleading. I was talking about the color way of Aria.
      2) XR3 has countervail

    Work in 3d printing industry. Both fizik and specialized are using the same print technology to print the saddle. Personally, I wouldnt ride one at the prices its being sold. It won't last.

      Then just buy a new one when it fails? And It’ll almost certainly outlast your riding lifetime

    • @davidngqkalone88
      @davidngqkalone88 Před 2 lety +9

      @@87togabito if you're made of money? Sure. These cost almost 3-4 times of a standard saddle.
      And no, it will not outlast your riding lifetime. The structure is inherently more susceptible to fatigue and wear than a standard saddle. In addition the materials are UV cured, which typically means they are more susceptible to UV degradation over time.
      A typical foam based saddle can last u 3-4 years depending on your riding mileage. Even if these do last the same time, you're spending 3-4 times more for a marginal improvement in comfort IMO.
      Of course if it solves major discomfort or saddle sore issues for you then maybe it's worth the price but I don't really think so for the average rider.
      If you want to know more, the company that actually prints it for them is Carbon 3d. The material is EPU.
