I’m Nigeria that’s like close to a Million right now
I’m just a newbie into Splunk
Really looking for resources to checkout with less cost
Lol just sitting here seeing myself in a commercial haha, wasn’t expecting that 😂, ty
Np man
Thanks for all the great content you put out as well
Chloe is AWESOME! Henri I am glad that you have her on your podcast. Super proud ✨🌟
Thanks for tuning in!!!
I learned so much last couple of weeks this podcast though put it over the moon for me. Seeing Brodus tell his story and Chloe tells hers is truly special. I thank you for the questions for SOC Analyst I have been studying them. I'm in a Bootcamp to break into Cyber and its pretty intensive for 6 months but your podcasts and shorts give me that edge. So thank you!
💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽 my pleasure let’s get iy
Anyone else here after completing a certification?! I just passed the AWS cloud practitioner exam(945/1000)
Congrats
Ayy boss, I’m studying for it now, is is it pretty hard? Also, how did u prepare for it?

Failed the exam twice 😊with the same score , starting to look fishy
677 both score
I guess google knows everything about me 😂 ,I just finished a splunk power user course and was notified about this upcoming video, looking forward for her insights.
Nice!
I just finished the Power User exam a few days ago and saw this on my timeline too😂
@spacewalkervibes hahha nice the algorithm is working
@@TechTualChatterInformative video so far btw. Will stay tuned to this channel. Also, you just got a new LinkedIn follower and CZcams subscriber 🤙🏾

Her personality and laugh is so infectious. Appreciate the interview because it gives me some good insight as I'm breaking into security

Love the video. I vouch for course careers, I actually was the first to complete the I.T program. Glad to see this course getting the shine it deserves

A NOC role (with the right organization) is an underrated path for transitioning to a SOC and SRE role. Infrastructure monitoring is vital for any NOC and deep-diving into various log sources and their use cases for potential observability is a great skill to have in this market.
Splunk really allows quality insight to complex enterprise IT infrastructure & applications, which is a field agnostic skill that can be used anywhere in tech from systems to development.
I agree especially if you’re in a NOC that will show you different things
This interview is gold! Appreciate the content sir.
Thank you ❤️
Love her openness. Just rounded up my Splunk/Linux classes last month. It's just amazing that I could understand her and the topics around splunk that she mentioned. Especially when she started talking about data onboarding, syslog, API, and forwarder. I was literally smiling.
Kudos to my tutor.😊
Nice 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Where did you take your splunk classes?
@@Jprep2116 Techforward LLC
Are you in Nigeria Mr Femi ? Pls where did you take your splunk classes...
@muyiwa7832 Hello,
Not in Nigeria. I took all my classes with Techforward LLC from Maryland in the USA. Frontend, backend, Linux commands, SPL, SPL optimisation, dashboards, reports, and many, many, many more. Even had a project at the end.
I live in Europe, btw.
I love this episode and your ebook is helping me a lot with creating a plan to embark on my cyber career. Thank you HD
You’re welcome 😀😀
This is some great insight, I love hearing from people in the field! Frame the camera in on you more
I moved the camera back by accident 😂
I want you both to come down here to visit me in Medellin COLOMBIA and help develop the ID TECH camp for the AFRO COLOMBIAN. You both are super inspiring. If not that then just take a workation.
Great stuff!
Peace, the video found me. I am in a similar boat you were in. At this time in taking a IT course. However, knowing what I know now. I want to position myself for PCI DSS Cloud Security in GovTech. I’m currently doing fundamental labs in Azure for the last few weeks helped come to this conclusion. Any advice would be appreciated.
Great interview!! Chloe is the best fr.
Agreed!!
Aww, thank you!
What was the shameless plug for splunk I kept rewinding but I couldn’t make out what you said. Thank you

The adlibs in 'Beauty' go crazy.
Henri you cop the M3 yet?
Currently going in the process of getting a Cybersecurity certification and started thinking of what route i want to take. I heard good things about specializing on Splunk so this video is extremely helpful. Where do you suggest going to for Splunk training?
Check my pinned comment. It should have a link to some official Splunk training

In reference to the “compensation adjustment evaluation “ …. Would you ask HR directly for this or the manager over you?

Any advice on help desk jobs? I just got my comptia + trying to start from entry level

I stumbled across you page today watched a few videos and I honestly have one question ….. I’ve been in oil and gas for over 15 years my body hurts I have no time for my kids and I want a career change. I’ve started googles cybersecurity certification just as a starting point ( I know it takes more then that ) I am willing to take several steps to get to where I need to be … my question is what steps do I need to take. A honest straight forward answer would be greatly appreciated….
Honestly that’s a loaded question. I would suggest booking a consultation with me to get a definitive plan of action
Sounds good to me … I have genuine interest in this … I’ll DM you instagram … I work nights so I’ll work out some time
Ok

One thing I’ve heard throughout the interview was the different job transitions. How long do you recommend staying at a company?
@@daniellyons5041 depends. The longes I’ve stayed at a job was 3 and a half years because they were helping me grow. I would say a year or two at a job is quite normal

I'm 45 years old, no college degree. Can I get into an entry level career with no previous know how. Can I learn splunk and get a job..
Yes, you can, I did it at 52. Took a few Splunk courses with projects and made a resume that has recruiters always sending job opportunities. Got a Jr. Observability Engineer position with just Splunk. Total time was 6 months without "real experience". It can be done but you have to work at it.
@lafinancial thanks where did you do the splunk courses
@letsgetsocialinfo they have initial training on their website
lol HD said I dont care where you work.... I'll social engineer you right now if I want!
She really never the left consulting world..
lol huhhh
Nope, I didn’t. Consulting allows me to work for multiple clients, companies & industries all at once. The value of being a consultant is unmatched.
