Meanwhile the person behind the stage writing it down and putting it in back of the chair and when he comes down from the chair you can see him put it in the envelope so it looks like he's taking it out of the envelope like it was there the entire time...

the first trick is he somehow made the one card she said face up and then when she shuffled the deck somehow got the rest of the spades in order and face up
