Lenovo X3 Pro In-Depth Review! When I first encountered AfterShoks, I was very intrigued with the idea of bone conduction headphones. The idea of not having speakers in your ears and still being able to hear music through vibrations is cool, and ever since, I've received quite a few bone conduction headphones to try out.
    These headphones were sent over to me by Banggood for review, and Banggood is a large E-commerce site that sells many tech gadgets you might want to look for. And you can also get this model of the Lenovo’s Bone conduction headphones from their page as well, so definitely check them out.

    I got a pair of these for £22 from ebay (the white ones, as it goes) to replace my Aftershokz Titanium, which after less than a year of use had stoped working properly (no mic and really unstable BT connection). I'm actually really impressed with them. The sound quality isn't quite as good - the bass is a little bit less prominent, primarily but it's a long, long way from being ~£120 worse. I mainly listen to spoken-word - podcasts, etc while walking the dog and they're great for that. The microphone for calls works better than with my Aftershokz. And BT connection seems bullet proof compared to the Aftershokz and even to my in-ear Beats. For less than £25, you really can't go wrong with these.

    Just bought these from Temu and paid $36 AUD and they really good - also they switch seamlessly between two devices which is what I was looking for to travel on the train. Sound quality is surprisingly good considering I was doubtful about bone conduction. I will still use my Apple EarPod Pros for movies and music but this was great for working and travelling, running and cycling. The microphone for calls was also very adequate.

    The concept behind the bone conuctive speakers is sound. I have a pair and they are good for listening to a, podcast or watching something on YT. But for music I feel they are still lacking in terms of dynamism. Plus they pretty much need to be recharged on a daily basis. Which is inconvenient for me! And with micro USB no the less 🤦‍♂️😄
    Thank you for the transparent review Sir Sean😊✌✌ as always.

  • @sulaimanmohdyusoff6940

    I am looking for conduction bone just for making and answering phone calls. Appreciate that you took the time to test the phone calls quality. I would very much appreciate if you could recommend a conduction with good call quality. Does having an extended microphone helps?

    It's probably true about the Bluetooth 5.3 since it has been around since last year but rarely any Bluetooth devices have come out with it, the Tozo A1 for example have Bluetooth 5.3, it's just starting to get adopted but it'll take a while

    I have previously used two pairs of the Aftershokz Titanium and Aftershokz Air. How would this compare? It sounds to me that call quality is not as great because noise cancellation does not work so well. I wear my Air all the time, and multipoint pairing between laptop and phone. It is unfortunate that these headphones do not have the feature.
    I think you may be misunderstanding the market behind bone conduction. For listening to music and mp3s proper IEMs or headphones are best. These headphones have a huge following among sports folk, cyclists, business people. These folk don't care too much about audio quality, and are happy to listen to streaming audio and podcasts. Multipoint pairing and call quality is quite important - mp3 storage not so much. Thanks for the review btw. Much obliged.

    I bought the x3 pro, the x4 and the x5 to choose. Comparing them, it's funny how the cheaper model (x3 pro) is the one with better sound. It has worse battery, lack some resources but it's the one that sounded good, having more dinamic and bass. Also, it's a little bit louder. Ranking them, it would be 1st - X3 pro, 2nd - X5 and 3rd - X4.

    If use during high intensity outdoor sports is ur priority, bone conduction is a game changer and nothing else comes close. Im constantly recommending these to active friends.
    If u intend to use on public transport and high noise environments, these will not perform well at all, don't expect these to replace ur regular earbuds.
    That said, most fitness enthusiasts have fitness tracking watches with built in bluetooth and music so mp3 capabilities would be redundant.

    I'd appreciate it if you could clarify what you meant by "FM radio". If it's actually FM radio quality, then it's hands game-changing tech that blows all other bone conducting headphones out of the water, and that's clearly not the case here. I suspect you aren't aware of how FM radio actually sounds. Perhaps you meant to say AM radio? That would make a lot more sense. Bone conducting headphones can't even come close to the fidelity of FM radio, my gosh.

    • @MichaelSergienko
      @MichaelSergienko Před rokem +2

      I compared to Shokz OpenMove ($90). OpenMove are more powerful(louder), but music quality is probably 30% better (very subjective, I understand). What makes the huge difference is the microphone. On Thinkplus X3 Pro I can't understand what my son is saying, while OpenMove don't have this issue. Seems like higher frequency is completely cut off by Thunkplus. So if I used the headphones for listening only - I would stick with Thinkplus X3, as value for money is awesome in this respect. But to be able to make/answer calls - I am buying Shokz now (luckily my friend lent me a pair for the "test drive")

    The truth is that Lenovo is not good at Bone conduction headphones,This low-priced product should be an OEM product. At this point, I just cringe when people pretend that MicroUSB is such a big deal. Does nobody use a PS4 anymore? Does everyone who has a Kindle have one made in the past few years? It's so easy to have MicroUSB and USB C coexist in a household, and the weirdest part is that if you're a tech enthusiast, you really can't escape MicroUSB, so it implies that you don't have very many electronics in your house (or that you did but you're wasteful and think you have to upgrade everything just to make it new).
