- The mods in this unit are quite OK, but I am not sure I like the green tray.
Anyone knows how to remove the magic green pen? - Věda a technologie
What hi-fi award winner 1993...great player...
I bought it new in the 90s, a few years ago I replaced the laser lens because the track skipped, at the same time I made some changes, I replaced the RCA connectors with quality ones, some internal wiring I soundproofed the compartment as in your case , and I must say that even small changes can be heard, I am fully satisfied with it, it is not an annoying or tiring sound, we then consider that some CDs are unlistenable regardless, perhaps all the CDs were recorded as The Nightfly
Hé dude, you have the title a bit wrong; it's a Rotel RCD-965BX
I now play with a Rotel CD transport.
Rotel is a hidden hero in the audio world. Top engineering.
Thanks
Just got one better than the ki 63 ,67 ,52se Arcam 7,8 se and the 9 to my ears

Billy Cobham Crosswinds
remove the tray and paint with black plastic paint if you don't like the green, personally as you only see it when opening/closing then I would leave it be, same around the laser assembly.
I love green. It is my favourite colour. But it just looks unprofessional. I managed to remove it with the solvent. But I left it around laser mech.
The background music is not ideal--it obscures narration. Please practice maturity in your video production. Thx.
Practice maturity? That's brilliant! Try practising your language skills instead and you shall not be bothered by a modicum of background music. How does that sound?
@@paulb4661 "How does that sound?" Better than THAT music ;)
