I can't remember if those are Black Gates. It's possible considering those caps had a long production run and would have been circulating around during the time Rotel produced that CD player (around 1993). I believe they stopped producing those caps in the earlier 2000's. Nonetheless, Rotel brought some decent equipment to the market, so, they may very well have used some Black gates in the audio path.
