I made a slight mistake - I said humans have not always been striving for more and better, but that is wrong. What I was getting at is that humans have never had access to such a device that can cause such harm, but is so widely accepted. Striving for a better and better phone is not really what humans should be pursuing, they should be pursuing things that grow and develop them, not just kill time. Which is my least favorite phrase "killing time" you only have a limited amount, stop wasting/killing it, and go out into the real world and enjoy it. Also my razor broke, sorry about my sort of balding head......
I fell on hard times recently and the first thing I did was sell my iPhone 13 mini and pick up a used iPhone 7. I don't mind getting rid of that stuff cause it doesn't really matter to me anyway, and to be honest the 7 is a bit laggy but overall I am very impressed at how well I am able to do everything. I don't even miss having a fancy phone at all. the battery can last me all day too cause im not on it all the time.
I really love that you make this videos about older phones and the value in it. My eyes usually strain with smaller devices, I am comfortable with the 6” screen so I have the XR but I don’t like the weight of it. It’s heavy. I am interested in getting the 12 or 12 mini but I think the mini may be too small. I refuse to get a new phone ever. I agree with keeping those apps off the phone (besides CZcams lol)
Man i watched lots of these kind of vids. But i must admit, yours is the effective one. Others just try dumb phones to get views. You're genuine at what you do. Keep it up.
The 12 mini is a great device, but it can be a bit too nice. It’s my daily driver (provided by my company). But I carry a 1st gen SE as a weekender phone from time to time when I want to disconnect.
Saaame lol. Just repaired the battery stuff of my dads old one and he said he would let me have it! He got the new iPhone se 3rd gen. I’ll use it as a backup for my Samsung galaxy A21!! >:D
A couple of years ago when they were killing 3G phones, my wife and I had to get new 4g phones. I opted for a free Moto Pure from my carrier. My wife wanted to try an iPhone, but not cost an arm & leg. I got her a 7 for $90 and to this day she just loves it. Does everything she wants; though admittedly she's a light user. Still a good option for the minimalist. Only negative is the battery life.
I brought it this week as a beginner see if I like iOS . So didn’t spend a fortune . Matt back is sooooo nice bring it back I hate glass. I only text call banking so hardly use it like most ppl glued to their phone 😂
I have an iPhone 11 Pro Max.... I don't feel the need to upgrade to the 12/13/4/15, because the 11 has so many more features not included in the newer phones, altho, I like the flat edges on the older iPhones, I don't like them on the new phones. I think the 7 is a fantastic phone, that I may get to have as an emergency device, incase something happens to my 11.
The iphone 7 is slighty worser then a 3d gen iphone se or iphone but if the iphone 7 was the ony option i would buy it guys its worth it 7 plus is nice but if you want something that will get updates for way more years just the the gen 3 iphone se but if i was on a tight budget a iphone7 /7 plus is worth it also its a nice price on ebay lol i just bought a ipad mini 4 from ebay im excited

Had one back when they were released and at 76 years old I finally realized that all I need is a communication device and that’s it. The rest of my days will not be spent scrolling mindlessly on some $1000 pieces of technology. But you need to take a breath and relax. I do enjoy your posts and passion to spread the word. “Stop being a prisoner to technology “ go outside and breathe, then have a conversation with a old friend.

I currently still use my iPhone 7 in Jetblack to this day. I love this phone.
It is extremely responsive, using it for over a week now, and it is wonderful.

you went from a 6 to a 6s, to a 7, honestly its time you get a 8 with a new battery so you can have ios 16 and i think you would keep that and love it
I still have my 7 screen is cracked but I use it now as a iPod touch while I have my 15 pro

They still get security updates. My 1st gen SE just got an update to 15.8
