boats - original song

I wrote this song as a songwriting exercise back in the spring. I was just practicing song structure, so the lyrics aren’t as cohesive as I would like (I just went with whatever popped into my head and didn’t edit), but so it goes. I believe this song is about being content with the present moment, or, more specifically, trying to convince yourself to be? Also my vocals are kinda whacked bc sometimes I wake up and can’t produce sound properly because the entire left side of my body is chronically semi-paralyzed including my throat bc Ticks but uh, ? … THE SHOW MUST GO ON
