20 - original song

A 5-year retrospection on being 20, about to turn 21, in the summer & autumn of 2017. Ft. being disillusioned in a neon maze in a point pleasant fun house, eating a candy apple, being sunburnt, bleaching my hair marilyn-anna-jayne-jean blonde, having a vision of a boy skateboarding, discovering radio 103.3, having horrendous acne, watching twin peaks season 3 with a puppy, making collages on my bed with the cat, drawing numerous faceless entities, and ~owning~ new york city, all the while possessing my mythical molars of wisdom.
Video ft. some old videos I found from around that time (but before I cut all my hair off, it must have been like April or early May). And a slideshow collection of visual art from around that time.

wow, being 22 (so not quite the same, but early 20s gist) and feeling like an avian creature absolutely clipped post-COVID, struggling to lift off anywhere -- this makes me Feel. not just Feel, but Feel Seen (as a person who admittedly lacks presence sometimes). i think you really get it and i love your art; it's wondrous.
i'm also just starting Twin Peaks, hehe. synchronicities...

And enjoyment of Twin Peaks -- it's such a great series, and the 3rd season in particular is so trippy. I remember watching the GameSpot Universe breakdowns & recaps of the episodes as they released back in '17 -- I just checked and the videos are still up here on YT, I would recommend them!!!
