  • Angamardhana is an ancient yogic process for absolute fitness. Angamardhana is unique when compared to other exercise regimes since it requires no equipment -- just a 6x6 foot space. It uses the momentum of the body to exercise every major muscle, and energizes the system in just 30 minutes. Taught exclusively as part of Isha Hata Yoga programs, Angamardhana is the ultimate workout.
    Isha Hata Yoga School delivers classical Hata Yoga in its full depth and dimension. It is Sadhguru's vision to revive this ancient science in all its purity and make it available to every individual. The school conducts teacher training programs as well as Hata Yoga classes, which offer many unique processes not found in any yoga schools today.

    Powerful video! I can absolutely confirm this. I used to deadlift close to 2x BW, but in my experience also, Angamardana makes me feel stronger, especially in the spine, but also in my legs - I can ruck pretty well without weight training. And of course, to recover from heavy weightlifting you need to eat and sleep a lot; with Angamardana you tend to sleep less.

    How does it compare to yogasanas, Surya Kriya, Surya Shakti?

    • @lawrencejauseau3569
      @lawrencejauseau3569 Před 7 měsíci +3

      Hi, Angamardana and Surya Shakti are about fitness and prepare the body for hatha yoga. Both are dynamic practices. Surya Kriya and Yogasanas are meditative practices, it looks more what we expect from classical yoga. Surya Kriya is like a gentle flow and yogasanas is a set basic/static asanas and then less intense physically. All of these practices are great anyway, but you need to be consistent. Hope it helps.
