I don’t consider Polygon “budget”. I think they just are not boutique and actually appreciate their customers. More bargain than budget… I mean they are throwing quality components on a quality frame. 😊
My plan is to get a Siskiu or maybe the Collosus…love me some eMTBs.
Good video that bike is badass…not feeling the color but I like that you like it.
Agree man! I’m loving my N9 👍
They have the right amount of value. Most of the market is too expensive.
Agree with You bro. I was try Collosus N9 and it was great feel when you ride it
💯 👍 🤘
2:39 That cassette performs well. I've even torture tested it under load, it did not jam up, nothing bent. Only con is it's around 600 G so super heavy. If you want a light upgrade I recommend Garbaruk.
Nice video Hoff!
Thanks bro!
That is an incredible bike
Most definitely 👍 I’m trying to find a deal on a set of i9 wheels for it right now with Chrome hubs and spokes 🤘 which I think would look really good with the chrome Trail One stem and such
5:24 Those tyres are for the nastiest of mud conditions and big wet roots. Grip being the priority. so the big spacing, sharp and tall knobs will result in a very slow tyre. This tyre looks like it would corner well too, not be too twitchy unlike Maxxis, but I've not tried them. But these are overkill and will slow you down a lot, unless you have sticky mud, big wet roots on most trails.
Closer and smaller centre knobs while keeping the side knobs would make a great tyre. I have something like that, Michelin Wild Enduro. But 'm keen to try Schwalbe tyres too.
Agree 👍
where you can find crank arms for shimano 160-165, it seems to be hard to find
I think if I was looking to upgrade my crank arms,,, I’d go with a Race Face set or something that’s compatible with my Shimano BB
Hello, what size you recomnend for my size 5.10 on a good day, looking to buy one this coming christmas, Cheers
Your size should fit a size large good 👍 But some people like to size down. I look more at the reach numbers and overall wheelbase.
See what the reach is on you current bike and compare it to the Large N9. Hope this helps! Also, feel free to use the link in my video description.
is the upcharge for the n9 worth it over the n7? i have a yt jeffsy but want to add an enduro to the quiver.
Yes, I think so. If you want a bike you’re not going to have to change much on get the N9. If you know you’re going to upgrade a lot of stuff,,, maybe get the N7. I can make a video comparing the two if that would help 🤔
Either way, if you decide to purchase one please use my affiliate link (below) to help me keep making videos like this.

For sure 💯
X2 is a great shock 👍
For sure!
Man.. I just saw the price dropped today and I just received my T8 this Tuesday... pretty upset lol
😮
Don’t worry man. You’ll love the T-8 👍
Hey man, have you ridden the t8 yet? I would call them and see if you can still return it as it has a 2 week free return. Their customer service is awesome.
@robinhood6535
I haven't got much time on it yet but so far it's been great. It's ok, ill keep the T8 and buy the colossus down the road lol
@@88jbc lol
Yt Capra core 3 $2500 if you can fit a xxl. Or multiple sizes for a core 2 $2300
YT is an amazing bike as well 👍
@@JaredHoff the core 3 is a crazy deal if you’re tall enough to take advantage
😮Stunning Machine 🤠🤟🙏
Most definitely 👍
Don’t forget about the Marin Alpine Trail XR for $2400
That’s one people like as well. I didn’t like the Alpine Trail, but you got to do what’s right for you 👍
Hell of a lot of bike for the money, not sure they are sold here in the UK never seen one before
Define a great price. BikesOnline ships direct to consumer so it might be available there 🤷🏼♂️
Theyre available in Go Outdoors/Blacks/Millets/Ultimate Outdoors. Theyre all the same group so the availability is the same from all of them since they are all distributed from the same warehouse network
For how long will this discount keep going?
Idk 🤷🏼♂️ hopefully long enough for people to take advantage of it. I know it’s still a lot of money, but man it’s a good deal for the bike.
@@JaredHoff yeah because I still need time to prove my parents I’m worthy of getting this bike😂😂
For all those upgrades, I would rather get the N7 and swap some of my parts on to it.
That’s a great option. The N7 wasn’t available when I got this, but I’m really liking the way this bike is like king and riding.
Just wait until you see the next upgrade(s) I do 🤘
@@JaredHoff Maybe it's my obsession, but I feel like I need to have a new bike each year. Bikes are not changing much and I am not getting any buyers for my used ones, so why not just take the parts. I like that the N7 has a hg driver body.
Heavy wheels is usually due to an cup and cone hub, outdated design, also heavy duty gravity rims. but rim it self won't make much of a weight difference, I rather have a rim that can handle massive abuse, yes those tyres are overkill, more of a muddy condition tyre. They will roll horribly. These tyres are for the nastiest conditions, which is overkill if you don't have that. But will be great on heavy sticky muddy trails with many big wet roots, the big centre spacing will help the tyres to hook on the roots. Of course there's a certain point where no amount of spacing will help. Then it's walking time. So optimising the set up for just one steep trail with big wet roots is pointless. Where I live I don't get that nasty mud, I do well with Michelin Wild Enduro, fast rolling centre knobs, but still beefy side knobs with massive spacing so sheds mud well.Great compromise. Not really a compromise for conditions where I ride. here it's tyre like this then studded tyres.
Budget? For 42 grand? A budget bike? So basically, CZcams MTB video reviews(mostly lame videos by those that receive free stuff), are by those that either get free stuff, or have one hell of a income. Any bike shop, within thirty miles of me is outta business due to no-one wanting to spend more than a few hundred on a bicycle. And consider that this very Polygon bike, probably cost less than four-hundred, to manufacture. The frame: less than a hundred. It's aluminum. Figure a soda can cost about a penny. Do the math.
I hear your frustration and you have a valid point.
Crazy 3k is considered budget lmfao
On sale right now for $2,499, which is a great deal for an enduro bike like this.
It's pushing what, 40lbs? crazy heavy....your channel lives on upgrades videos...sigh
Upgrading is something I truly enjoy. There’s something about getting you bike dialed in and looking one of a kind that gets me stoked to ride.
Its a boat anchor
It’s an amazing enduro MTB. Although the wheels and tires do weigh a bit. That’s the thing I need to change.
