      Awesome to hear and I really appreciate you letting me barrow the T6E for a few months so I could make this long term real world review...👊 Thanks again, Jay

      Hey there Jairo and I really appreciate the kind words about the review :) The T6E is a really great option especially when you look at the price and compare what you can get elsewhere. It's clearly one of, if not the best value trail rated full suspension E-bike's on the market today in my opinion. The fun factor is also off the charts as a bonus ;) haha... All the best and if you have any questions please feel free to ask, Jay

    I just got this bike and love it! I was so against EMTB's. You are right, it is cheating, but it makes getting out there easier and makes me more motivated to go and have fun. Even if I only have a small amount of time.

    • @Jason_Hermann
      @Jason_Hermann  Před 3 měsíci

      I really appreciate you sharing your comments Dave, thank you! :) Although now I don't really consider it cheating so much as having the ability to dial in the experience I want to have with the time I have available in the conditions/ terrain I am riding with... At first coming from a regular bike that was my impression though 100%... I now realize I can still get completely exhausted easily on the e-bike, by just hammering in ECO mode and it feels very similar to my T8 cardio wise... So I'm still getting into shape fast when I want to. Then when I want to hammer at higher speeds I switch to trail mode and sometimes Boost on really step long technical climbs. Towards the end of the ride I am usually shot as I'm still getting into shape for the season, so I will go slow in trail mode and use it as a recovery period on the way of the woods sort of thing.. The E-Bike is so awesome and all my friends are having different thoughts about it after watching my experience first hand over the past few months. All the best and I'm curious if you have considered going tubeless with you T6E? I made a tutorial for Beginners on my other channel if you want to give it a go and I highly recommend it! czcams.com/video/8_tlN32bBC0/video.html

    Great video. I've been interested in this emtb for a while and now with the lower price makes the purchase decision even easier. I have been biking for years and have good technical and downhill skills but not the best endurance. At 58 I think it's time for an emtb so I can have more confidence hanging with the rest of the guys I bike with (who are mostly on analog bikes). Big question is, how far can a person of about 200lbs go on a full battery charge with about 1500 feet of elevation on this 504wh battery? Is it possible if I'm in trail mode to get 20 miles? Eco maybe 30? We have an epic trail where I live that's 27 miles (longest I would need) and it's pretty much X-country with about 1800 feet of elevation change. Is this bike able to make that or should I look into the t7e with the larger battery? I guess asking that question answers my own question.

    • @Jason_Hermann
      @Jason_Hermann  Před 5 měsíci

      I'm not 100% sure how far it will go, because it really depends on the steepness and speed you are going. If you noticed in the video at the 10:33 mark, when I went thru the electronics with a full battery it says 29 miles for Boost mode, 44 miles in Trail mode, and 87 miles in Eco mode... So I think you will totally fine honestly. I went for one 20+ mile ride with my friends and I used mostly trail mode and boost mode the entire way back on the roads which was about 5 miles in itself (just the rode part) and I only used about 1/2 the battery in that one ride. Then when I climbed up Cosmic Charlie which is only about 250' climb the battery didn't even go down 1 bar when in trail mode. I have not done really long climbs though, but again I think you will be fine especially if you don't use the battery when going downhill. I would also consider the T7E for the larger battery and for the better suspension if going downhill is your primary passion and purpose with the bike. I hope that helps, and thank you for the kinds words and questions Glen 👊

    Very interested in this model bike, I’m 6”6’ and 120kg would this handle me on it?

    • @Jason_Hermann
      @Jason_Hermann  Před 4 měsíci

      Hello, If you get the XL size I think you will be fine as I’m 6’1” on a size large and fit no problem. You could also if needed get a longer handlebar stem to push out the handle bars a bit more, but I don’t think u will need to do that though. Weight wise your also good, but will require a little more air pressure in the shocks compared to what I used weighing about 220lb myself… I hope that helps, Jay

    hey, just wanted to ask out of all your cameras which one do you use most? a7c2, a6700, a74? which one are you using for this video?

    • @Jason_Hermann
      @Jason_Hermann  Před 4 měsíci +1

      Hey there, Currently I am using all three, but my everyday camera is the A7C2. My studio camera is now the A74, so they both get a lot of use. The A6700 I am mostly using for a B cam, for the 4k/120, and HD/240 slow motion... I'm also using the A6700 to test new lenses here and there. Overall I would say A7C2 for the win in my world...

    • @ChillStudyDate
      @ChillStudyDate Před 4 měsíci +1

      @@Jason_Hermann if you had to recommend one, would you say the a6700 is the best value? or would you say the a7c2?

    • @Jason_Hermann
      @Jason_Hermann  Před 4 měsíci +1

      I would say the A6700 is the better value overall, because lenses are also way cheaper for aps-c than the full frame A7C2. However If I had to pick one or the other it would be the A7C2.

    • @ChillStudyDate
      @ChillStudyDate Před 4 měsíci +1

  • @G14tube
    @G14tube Před 4 měsíci +1

    Whats the warranty like on the motor and battery ? I was reading some where if the sensor goes on the motor you cant replace the sensor, and the motor needs to be replaced?

    • @Jason_Hermann
      @Jason_Hermann  Před 4 měsíci +1

      The bike has a 5 year on the frame and stuff like that, and Shimano covers a 2 Year Warranty on the Motor and Controllers for any defect type of failures such as the one you suggested... More info here: bike.shimano.com/en-US/information/warranty.html

    • @G14tube
      @G14tube Před 4 měsíci +1

      @@Jason_Hermann My concern , if you keep this bike for more then 3 years, what is the parts support going to be like? I know its hard to say. But I guess I just would want 50 pound paper weight. Where an accoustic would last for a long time with no electronics. I am thinking about picking up the T6E, or a T8. Do you still get your heart rate up in eco? I still want to get some exsercise in. 🤔

    • @Jason_Hermann
      @Jason_Hermann  Před 4 měsíci +1

      All the modes can still get the heart rate up depending how you ride. For example I go way faster and get out of breath on the e-bike also in trail mode, but if I slow down a lot I don't get winded at all. Similar experience on the regular bike depending on the trail, just different relative speeds. As far as gear holding up it's hard to say, because this stuff has not been out long enough to know for sure. I would hope it would last longer than 3 years, and if it does fail, there will be replacement parts I'm sure, because this is mainstream brand hardware. I appreciate the questions and all the best, Jay
