The creativity and animation in this video is over 9000. Absolutely amazing! What worries me the most now is, the amount of radioactive mario videos that are gonna pop up in about a week from all those copy-paste rip off mario animation channels

Funny thing about that, way back in 2019 he made a poll on if he should make a game or not and has mention in the poll that he was a game designer and of course the majority said yes, but after a while he kept very quiet about it. I understand game development is hard and take time, but he said nothing about the game for years.

That radiation bar is a really interesting mechanic, a lot better than the instant-killing poison floor Mario games usually have.
Also, Mario growing extra parts was pretty funny as well. Hope he finds enough coins to get rid of those two new heads. In his case, I feel that him having three heads would result in him making three times more mistakes than usual.

Quite honestly, I think this is a great concept for a level in a Mario game. I like it when kids games/movies/shows aren't afraid of using somewhat darker concepts than one would expect (if you need an example, look at the Kirby series's Dark Matter Clan and Star Allies's pause screens).

I have to say, their animations improve and add a lot of Mario Bros items that even Nintendo wasn't able to do, every video on this channel I see something different, it's really cool, it even looks like they updated Mario Maker at areally advanced level, the Level Up channel has a very good and special talent in animations :)
Mario litteraly mutating is the best part.
I haven't played a single Mario Maker level in those games, but if you ever made these in Super Mario Maker 2, I'd buy the game and play your levels. Seriously! Your levels and creativity are top-notch. Kudos to you, LevelUp!
That is heavily creative, the who radioactive concept. I especially loved the meter at the top, as it increases just by the presents of being by the thing, and if it is massive jump man just evaporate just by being near it.

Makes me wonder if there is an exclusive protective radioactive suit power up for Mario to help him through this stage level a whole lot better.
It'd be a Cockroach Suit or something, based on the myth that cockroaches can survive nuclear explosions. Though Mario would gain extra benefits besides radiation proofing. Like say clinging to walls and climbing up them and becoming faster.
I really hope they add something like this into Super Mario Maker 3. There are so many ideas they can capitalize on.

Another Epic Mario encounter! The part with the rapid tower ascension before that massive bullet bill collapsed it made me think of something out of a TR game!🙂
I have two complains about this video.
1. I wish it was longer, for Marios suffering sake.
2. I wish more Mario radioactive enemies and more Goomba interaction.
This and the zombie apocalypse ideas are actually really good ones to go with. These would definitely make level designs and gameplay in official Mario games more interesting.
That was great a brutal adventure for Mario. Looking forward to what comes next!

Also I was sorta expecting some sort of big mutated Koopa fight at the end, but the giant radioactive Banzai Bill works. (There needs to be another one of these made, maybe with a bit of help. That would be cool!)
Actually, that giant "Banzai Bill" at the end is a "King Bill". (First appearance: NSMB Wii)
A King Bill is roughly that size and has that particular face.

poor mario. In like the past year he has "survived" a nuclear apocalypse, a zombie apocalypse, I think a hostile takeover by a "competent" bowser army, and pretty much every horror imaginable. Gotta admire the commitment to these "what if" scenarios for mario.
The segment with the Nuclear Giga-Banzai Bill crashing into the tower reminded me of the Skull Tower level in Kirby Mass Attack, specifically the parts where the giant stone fists punched into the tower walls and threatened to knock the whole thing over. Allowing them to do so, of course, meant instant death for your whole crew of Kirbies.
Who would be worse as an irradiated villain? Bowser, Wart, or Birdo?
Either way, this was great. Loved the Fallout reference with the rad gauge.
