- Here is our "Way To Early" 2024 Oregon Ducks football predictions video for every college football game of the 2024 season.
We're going to go game by game and break each matchup down. Along the way we will predict the final outcome of each matchup, and predict Alabamas final record on the season.
The SEC as a whole has gone through massive changes this year. The BIG 10 has added Washington, USC, UCLA and Oregon Ducks. We have the Texas Longhorns and Oklahoma Sooners coming into the SEC conference. The road to the SEC championship is now more difficult. We have also had Nick Saban, the GOAT himself retire. We welcome in Kalen Deboer as the new Head Coach of the Crimson Tide. Kirby Smart though is still in charge in the SEC conference. The college football playoffs have also expanded to 12 teams now starting this year. Brent Venables looks to compete with other SEC coaches. Dan Lanning is re tooling.
Let's take a close look at each of these games being of season to end.

Nice analysis. But you missed one big factor. The home field advantage. I don't know the home vs away games, but the home field advantage should be covered in your video and can be a big factor for Oregon.
Hey, great point. The home of away is in the title of each game, it will say vs or @ for away. Your right though that’s a big factor. I did mention Oregon at home vs Ohio St, that’s a big one. Oregons home could definitely play an advantage there like you said. That could even be the deciding favor in a game so evenly matched. Great point
Ducks beat Ohio state, Lanning is due for a marquee win
I can see it happening. Like I said it’s practically 50/50. But whoever loses that game has a chance at a rematch either way in the BIg10 championship
Ducks 34-24
@@John-ls2gp I like that, it can very possibly happen

This is the first time since 2019 where I legit think Oregon can once again go 12-0. We're hitting the B1G with a completely stacked roster and a more secure QB room than any of our potential rivals. Ohio State still hasn't figured out who their starter will be and they have to play at Autzen. I really can't express to those who haven't been there just how hostile and loud Autzen gets, it 100% puts places like the Big House to shame when it comes to decibel levels and given the current ticket costs this game is trending to have the largest turnout in stadium history which would only be fitting as the Suckeyes haven't dared play there since the year it was built all the way back in the '60's. Maybe they get revenge in the B1G championship but no, they're not winning in Eugene.
Good breakdown, and good points. I thought for sure that Will Howard would have secured the job by now. But your right, the Ohio St QB situation seems to have turned into another tough situation. That only benefits Oregon
Love this vid, go ducks!🦆
Thanks! It will be a good year for you guys
@@3rd-And-Long just subbed
@@King_champion thanks!
Came in late. Oregon should have a great year, might be stellar. Hype will be substantial if they beat Ohio and its @ Oregon. See them as 50/50, but @ Home is the difference.
I agree on that point. I think your right about hype too. This may be the most hyped up season at Oregon. If they beat Ohio St they’ll be making a case for the #1 spot
Im not gonna lie, this schedule is low key very hard in my opinion. Like sneaky hard Idaho, no push over from what I've heard. Boise St, Oregon to my knowledge has never beaten them. I think they will win but if this game is close like the Texas tech game, im taking Boise. Just basing off of history. Ohio st with Chip as OC. Huh, don't know. Michigan, ill take Oregon. Last 2 times i believe Oregon played Michigan, Oregon beat them. Wisconsin, ill take Oregon. Will b tough, always is but Oregon should have that on lock. Washington, ill take Oregon. Great vid
Thanks! I agree with what you’re saying too. There are several tough games that if they don’t take seriously can catch them off guard. The BIG10 is a good conference too. Wisconsin, Boise, Wash, not by any means a pushover. But that Ohio St game is the one. If they can take that it’s massive momentum
Go Ducks !
This is one of their best teams in recent memory
Either way they in playoffs
Exactly! That’s a fact
Ohio state had a top defense last year but remember they didn’t play a offense like ours 💚💛🦆🤝🏾
Very true, but Oregon also didn’t play a defense like Ohio St. but both are valid points. I think Oregon is the same caliber as Ohio State. That’s why I think they’re evenly matched and it can go either way. As a fan of college football I think it’s one of the best games in all of college football this season coming up
As long as Lanning is the coach they won't win the big games, the guy is a choke artist when it matters.
It has gone that way recently. But he’s only 2 years into being a head coach. He has started his HC career about as good as anyone could have dreamed for. Maybe he’ll learn, don’t go for it on every 4 and 1 lol
Go Ducks 🦆
Will be another really good year
@@3rd-And-Long I feel like Dan Lanning have done amazing job and his staff with the recruiting and the transfer portal but we would have to wait…
@@hoshilee4324 oh he has big time. He’s bringing in top 10 recruiting classes and top 5 portal classes
@@3rd-And-Long yes sir but I’m excited for my team…
@@hoshilee4324 you should be, college football is the best time of year
Sco Ducks!!!
Will be a great year for them
@@3rd-And-Long I’m just hoping Oregon OC lets Dillion Gabriel air it out deep and give him more freedom. It felt like last years team they were really really playing for Bo’s completion percentage. Just wanna see Oregon offensive coordinators being comfortable taking more shots down the field
@@Riiiley yeah I agree on that. Great point! He was throwing all short dink and dunk passes. They have the weapons to go vertical. They’ll have all the tools, no excuses
Oregon beats Ohio State in a close one because of the 13th man.
Very plausible at home. Like I mentioned, I wouldn’t be surprised who wins this match up. These are 2 of the best teams in the country. And your right home field will be a massive advantage
Sco Ducks!
Strong year
...also you said Boise State would win. Lol.
Lol my bad, that was a mistake then. Good catch if I scrambled that up. Oregon wins that one
You said “look for Boise state to win it” no I won’t
Hey, lol I picked Boise to lose and Oregon to win. I agree that’d be crazy any other way lol
Sco Ducks!!
Good year for sure, maybe their best
Not even an Ohio fan, but you guys are in the big ten now! Show some humility.
Gotta put some respect on the BIG10 lol. I agree. BIG10 schedule will be brutal. There’s some physical D lines in that conference. And stout defenses overall
Man pls 😂😂😂😂😂
@@Ducks4Life91 ducks are built for it, but schedule should be tougher
Respect to the Big 10.... But we're ready... It's pushback for a lot of previous disrespect. Pac-12 has been a really deep conference for a little while now.. there's some good defenses some good line play... Went tired of the preconceptions... And we're coming. 🦆🏈
@@ramspencer5492 PAC-12 was undervalued. Your right it was better then thought. Last season showed how deep the conference was
Ohio State in Oregon. Ducks win.
I like that. I think it’s 50/50. I wouldn’t be surprised if Oregon won at all though like you said. I think the teams are on same level. Oregon could win at home. But I think whoever wins the regular season matchup may lose the BIG10 champ if it’s a rematch
@@3rd-And-Long Very astute observations. GO DUCKS!!!
@@christophersteele4902 Thanks!
I'm not saying Idaho will win, but the Vandals will give the Ducks a run for their money.
Hey they finished 9-4 last year, so your right their no scrub. They can play.
@3rd-And-Long including a 33-6 beating of Nevada. Who may I remind the week before playing USC and allowing Nevada to score 2 touchdowns.
@@RRSpartan406 they can’t take any of these games for granted
We beating Ohio state
Very possible, I say 50/50 and can go either way. Oregon has as much a chance as Ohio st does to win.
