Hey Tutorials Up! Great tutorial! I am currently making a Rube Goldberg on ketchup and I have been trying to get the extension MSPhysics to work on SketchUp 2017, but to no avail. Can you give me some pointers on how to get it running? Thank you for your time!
I am not familiar with many FEA SOFTWARES as far I know you can not run Finite Element Analysis on an imported mesh in Solidworks. and you can only export .obj and .ply form Instant Meshes.
Poly meshes are not the same as FEM meshes. FEM meshes have degrees of freedom depending on the equations that describe the node position. The geometrical aspect of the remeshing is almost the same.

the link warns for a virus when u go to the link for windows...
hello, guys, thanks for your tutorial, can I ask why when I exported my model, and then imported others software that shows it lost UV? How to resolve the problem? Thank you in advance!
Apply the texture on faces not on groups or components. Check the export setting before export. Try to export with any free plugin. Watch this video: How to Fix Obj file Missing Texture - Method 1 Thanks
Awesome!
Hello! I hope there will soon be the possibility to treat different mesh parts with different densities...- the rest is just great! Nice tut btw!
Wow very nice
Muito bom... obrigado
Thanks for watching.

Thanks you.

Can the meshing be used for finite element analysis? Are there other options for exporting the file?

Thanks
Bake High poly to low. Easy.
Could you explain why it's better to have quad mesh than triangle mesh ? I am new in the 3D model game :) pls ^^
Guys! That's super cool, but when I export the new mesh, it loose all the UV maps, so it's useless for me... any suggestions?
Let me check
unfortunately. Software dose not support textures.
@@TutorialsUp ok, thanks for your help anyway :)
@@thekirlianeffect2635 you bake high to low poly... Google the workflow for Blender.
I need something that is more like the mesh from the thumbnail
In this a new branch to skp?
no, it's a separate open-source software.
