>Rudy's father having 2 wifes,
>polygamy being normalized,
>him being a horndog,
>influence of Asuran palace being full of degenerates, Grayrats being chief among them,
Sylphie knew what she was getting into when entering that relationship, more than Rudy himself.
Actually it's not that polygamy is being normalized, it is normal in that world, monogamy is the exception because of the religion
But yeah, i like the fact that Sylphy understood the whole situation, she knows her husband very well
@@Ricardo_Rick basically the normal is Polygamy and the odd ones off are Millis followers
@@tensazangetsu465 yes
People easily relate to Norn because she says what they want to say.
However, Roxy traveled for six years across continents, gave up the chance to get a demon eye, and explored a deadly dungeon-all just to save Norn's family. When you think about it, Norn has no right to treat Roxy like that.
Yes, in the mushoku tensei world, you can clearly see that norn is being emotional due to her background and her world crumbling. For god sake the daddy issues are glaring. And norn was probably not even worried about sylphie beliefs, she was just venting her frustrations and putting her beliefs above everything else.
ED talking seriously while chat is spamming DILLLOOOOO would always be funny to me
ED? Erectile Dysfunction?
@@captainvanisher988 imagine ED having ED while watching mushoku tensei ED
29:00 I think Norn's grief was one of the better adaptations of the source material. When reading the text, it simply narrated her coming to grips and then crying and everyone is in silence allowing her to let it out. When reading it, it was easy to empathize with the character; but when watching the scene and hearing the VA's performance, it was like getting my heart torn open again and feeling the grief over Paul.
Now I'll hear it every time I read that part of the book.
46:38 LMAO HAHAHAHA THE BOSS MUSIC HITS HARD
Dillo is a cold boy and the episode does a disservice by not showing him curled up near the fire at least once.
I see him as the family dog.
1:05:51 Sylphy will get loud if its the black hair girl lol
We all need a Sylphie in our lives
Implying it exists
MT is peak! To my surprise, it's so rare for a reactor to try to actually figure out what's going on when it comes to Rudeus. Usually they just get mad and spew curses out of context. And that makes your reactions even more precious than it is on its own.
1:18:36 That card says the season 3 is IN PRODUCTION. Not announced. Not confirmed. Production, as in happening as we speak.
didnt it said "green light for season 3"?
I've been looking forward to watching your analysis on this.
man this episode had me in an emotional wreck. I've was crying the entire time watching. I'm gonna have to read the LN, I cant wait 2 years. Mushoku tensei is hands down a masterpiece. I've never been so invested, and felt so many emotions as I have with any other anime. Everything about it is just so well written its just indescribable. I cannot wait for season 3.
I wonder what he was suppose to be regretting? Although there was fighting and hurt feelings, overall it seems like it worked out. He's got what's left of his family home. He got to marry Roxy, and had his first child with Sylphy. Even though he lost Paul, this is generally a pretty happy "ending". Knowing MT, I expected more of a soul crushing, tears flowing, absolute emotional despair ending to happen from the man god. I got the emotional roller coaster of tears, but were being left off in a bitter sweet, but good place.
I'd also like to mention that Norn's VA absolutely popped off. I cant really put it into words how good of a job she did. She has me absolutely gut wrenched. She absolutely deserves an award for her performance.
The answer of your question can be found in turning point 4 :)
If you're planning to continue at vol 13 from anime, I highly recommend also reading the extra story from vol 9 and side story from vol 10, it's about Eris' journey which shouldn't be skipped
@@minhdragon2000 I was recommended to start from volume 7, so thats what i'll probably do. They said to do that because from 7 onward theirs a lot of stuff you miss if you skip it. i'll probably be listening to the audiobook of it
@@ScarTalon if you have time, you should go back to vol 1, to not lose any detail, because some things won't be the same in latter vols if you don't know some seemingly small details. Like who is the blond woman in the Eris OVA of season 1 or a character from a small extra in volume 5 that is completly skipped in the anime. But at the end all changes with your circumstances and time available.
@@ScarTalon yeah that's the better way, season 2 first half isn't a good adaptation of those arc, you''ll experience a lot more reading it
Funny thing is that Gese says that but they’re the ones that talked Roxy into doing what she did
to be fair that was more on Elinalise's tho
Tutorial over, next season the game begins 🔥
Loved every single one of your Mushoku analysis videos 👌🏽
Can't wait for season 3 🤩

LN/Diary readers: panic intensifies
Nah... The RAT intensifies
Glad to have been part of Ed's Wizardry and Espi's fu-- AHEM! And also part of that stream...
I bring the fun every week with MT :p
1:01:25 Exactly. It's not "Norn's" marriage. It's Rudi's, it's Sylphy's, and it would be Roxy's. The preteen who couldn't even bother to live at home with her brother, whom their father trusted to raise her, should chill tf out on telling other people what to do.
1:02:15 I mean, i kinda get it, but mainly, I HATE how weak-willed and wishy-washy Rudi is being here. He's just sitting on the floor, watching his Master walk away, letting his sister dictate the scene. There is no possible way I would be quiet for longer than 2 seconds if my, and my love's, future was being decided. Him just kneeling therr freaking out makes it seem like he wasn't that into it anyway.
Thank you, I thought I was alone in thinking Norn shouldn't have had a say in the discussion at all and she out of anyone there should have been sympathetic towards Rudeus as her own father had done the same (with 10x less reason) but looked past it because of how much he was going through, makes me a little disappointed she didn't understand what went down instead of this unnecessary drama.
@@sumikacel88To be fair he was seriously considering punching her.
And with that; season 2 has come to an end. What a fantastic time to be watching this anime along side Ed and everyone else.
Let's all meet again in season 3!
Bruh, the RAT comments next season are gonna be overwhelming and annoying lmao.
On that note,
*insert horizantally spinning rat with FreeBird playing*
Yeah, I feel like it's been over-hyped, and I just got here 4 episodes ago.
@@Sheamu5 If you are an anime only, ignore the rats. They will get your hopes up way too high. Even then, nothing will prepare you for ln 15
I was expecting a post-credit scene with Eris showing up at the House as a cliffhanger for season 3.
Princess Tutu is about life. What is reality. Becoming the you you want to be.
Its a battle Shojou where the fights are dance; its extremely deep for how goofy it is.
duck is both the race and the name of the MC; she is just a duck. She loves her prince but he is emotionally traumatized and all she really wants to do is make his life happy.
The Theature nerd in you if nothing else should get a kick out of it.
Awesome sound track if you like Ballet like classical music.
I loved this episode, well, this whole season, it was incredibly good and i hope it doesn't take long for a season 3.
Norn was indoctrinated by the church and was grieving for Paul's death, so it makes sense she would lash out, especially since she usually is very vocal about things.
I also liked that Sylphy didn't care about it and accepted Roxy with open arms, after all like she said it herself, if she and roxy had switched places and Rudy was like that, she would 100% do the same thing Roxy did, and we all know she would, since she knew that was a way to cure Rudy and did that herself.
And on a personal note: I love Roxy but i will admit: Mylphie looks good, not gonna lie.
Also, this wouldn't be a Mushoku Tensei finale without ED flexing his wizard powers XD
31:10 I was eating and listening to this, and when he said that I almost choked on my French fries. (I've read the books) 😂
I fucking can't PSY is too good at what he does!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Norn’s VA goes all out. Good for her.
really love this guy analysis and reaction. gonna miss you my man. see you season 3.
42:15 I could have sworn Geese was just going to act as cannon fodder to die in the fight at the animal village. The not only did he survive but even joined the group.
Geese is a rogue class man. You can't just simply underestimate rogue.
the balance of extremes is fucking hard when ur brain is fucked
Rudy asking Geese to stay like he wasn't about to drop the biggest nuke in the story so far.
34:25 well, it was a book lol
46:35 lol
The church of Roxy/ Mylphie shined this episode
Please! PLEASE!!!
You MUST do psychoanalysis for MONSTER!
It's a relatively old anime, but the analysis you'll be able to do for this show is going to be absolutely superb. One of my top 3 anime, BTW.
Two more anime shows you must consider streaming are:
1) Black Lagoon
2) Argo Proxy
You'll thank me later.
Theres suprisingly a lot going on between now and the trat. I think with eris's back story, and the content remaining, the rat wont happen until the end of cour 1
They've been doing 3 novels per cour, that would put it in the middle
51:20 I should put a picture of myself next to Rudeus and write "Same person" ;)
But rather next to "Eartheus". I don't have two wives, and I probably wouldn't be able to get two wives if I was reborn.
Here before they block the boobs graph. That said this season has nailed the emotional moments, even better than the source material. Hearing Norn's wail absolutely broke me again. Then the rest of the episode was just as impactful. It'll be a while before I can watch this without tearing up.
27:48 LOL PREWATCHED actually I saw some people do that
not only talking about Zenith but Rudeus hugging Norn
49:36 PSYMAN in chat has it wrong, me thinks. Sylphy has an extraordinary grasp of what Rudi is. She's always appreciated that he was far beyond the norm. So, when it cane to assessing his current and future romantic and sexual behavior, I think Sylphy truly already had her moment of clarity and faith. She KNOWS that Rudeus would never put her aside, should even 10 more women move in. Though, it's not a troublesome random piece of ass she would have to worry about. It would most likely be one of the women that has a deep, personal, and supportive connection with her husband, who has been through many severe and life changing events. She has heard his stories and she can easily imagine that those companions he trusted his life and sanity with will always have a part of Rudi to themselves. She probably saw the likelihood that at least one of those girls who helped shape him could end up being his future as well. Smart, understanding, devoted partner, that sexy ass quarter(?) elf M.I.L.F.Y.
To me, Mushoku Tensei did a bunch of things.
After watching first season I felt heartbroken.
I also had a female friend back then, but it was difficult to stay in contact, and I already expected it wouldn't go well.
Besides that the person, who recommended MT to me, a guy I chatted to online a lot, also suddenly didn't have time anymore.
I have some kind of fear of being hated by people, and that's what kind of prevents me from getting close to people emotionally I guess.
And when I started reading MT, it immediately made me want to train more. I have to lose weight. And there were multiple parts in the story which motivated me to keep up with my training.
It's the best story I've ever read, especially of this length.
Also when seeing Rudeus get multiple wives I considered this an option again.
I kind of gave up getting a girl already. I'm almost 30 and never really had a GF.
And now if I got a GF, I would probably hold onto her in an unhealthy way. And then maybe just lose interest after a few months.
I felt like the only chance to get a GF is to be more conservative, and I'd actually rather want a conservative GF than a "woke" one, but I also don't want to restrict myself to one girl.
I don't even have any experience yet.
Maybe I wouldn't even get the chance, so it's probably not useful to think about this already.
It's probably because the conservative channels I watch usually are more reasonable in general. But I don't agree to their views about relationships. They thought it's degenerate if there is another person than your partner you are close to, even if it's not sexual.
I consider Mushoku Tensei to have mostly conservative values. Rudeus himself is the most conservative because he "knows" that his lifestyle before was bad.
But it also portrays a polygamous family. It's exactly what I like. A healthy degree of sexual openness, but also family values.
It's not a common political view. But it's my view. And that's part of why I like MT so much.
Its hard maintaining relationships specially with ppl you cant actually hang with. now that im a father i rarely have time to hang out with friends. Most of my friends are my group of friends i got close in bible study and the main reason why we see each other more than usual is bc we are all parents with kids of around the same age.
As a conservative, i can tell you that it doesnt matter what some conservative influencer is saying. it really depends on your partner. If your partner is ok with you having friends of the opposite gender then go for it. The one thing most conservatives would agree is that they dont agree on the principles of poly relationships and would for sure say its wrong. Ofc there is data backing up both sides of the argument and it all depends on your partner. Also, if you are looking for a conservative partner they are more likely than not be monogamous just fyi. I'm assuming you are man, so most conservative woman are looking for a man that be the rock of the relationship so be it, emotionally, financially, and or physically. and ofc someone with strong principles and thats a key factor. you need to find what your principles are, understand them, live by them, and keep that conviction going. in that sense, if you are true to your principles you will attract the woman that best suits your principles. Don't be afraid of being yourself.
@@ramirobarrera2845 That's actually a pretty good advice.
It's not completely new to me. I've heard that women like men who have a "mission", which is pretty close to principles I guess.
(that would be creating interesting stories (not only writing, also art, maybe as games))
I think, I have pretty strong principles, but I never thought about that enough to put them into words.
I know my values and my political views pretty well, but that's also something different.
But principles is something I have to think about.
@porky1118 what they like is someone honest and with a conviction. Ofc every woman would be attracted to different kinds of convictions so that's why it's important to be true to your principles.
And yes values/principles. And I believe your principles usually lead you to your political views so it should be easy. For example, I'm a naturalized catholic immigrant. My principles are mainly based of my religion, my heritage and my new citizenship.
La cantidad de "¡¡¡No mames!!!" me mato 😂😂😂
46:36 XDDDDDDD ❤
3:07 I tend to either hugely overthink things, or I refuse to let myself think about it at all until I'm forced to. There is no middle ground.
15:41 I'm sure I have, especially as a child, but I can't really point to any examples off the top of my head.
43:51 Nah. She just misses her hubby and really wants to get out of her magic underwear so she can drain him dry.

about favorite character i wold go with Pax Shirone. cant talk about his role importance or development without a loot of story but i can say that he is the character that i mostly deep connected mushoku tensei what is surprising considerem what anime only had see so far.
hope they do a ova or a couple for this season, like eris side stories. Norms staying home would be nice too. but eris story is important, guess they could start with another ep 0 like this one did too tho.
2 hours of Mushoku Tensei content, fire 🔥
1:05:14 So if Roxy's a Goddess, would that make Sylphie a Saint in the Church of Roxyism?
About the discussion about anitubers at the end. The reality is kind of sad that most channels that focus deep in topics related to anime often don't become very popular. Maybe you found the secret sauce because I enjoy watching your whole streams. But I often don't find myself enjoying 30 minute essays about specific anime.

Ты как всегда прекрасен , чувак, спасибо за все!
This is a joke but with what ED was saying about showing up back home... being all stressed out with cold feet about the Sylphy, Roxy thing... and the house is empty only Norn and Aisha... Well... Problem... solved! Okay Roxy unpack your things phew... I'm glad I brought my spare wife home! lol
I thought there would be discussion with Rudy's VA
I think the reason people react differently to this isekai with multiple wives than the million harem isekai out there is because this one feels so realistic. When it feels so real we tend to then put our morality onto them. Where in other harem anime it’s more like a Pokémon collection of waifus.
I think it is more that people project into Rudy, and try to reject parts they consider bad, by rejecting Rudy.
1:29:23 But first we get the Perigius/Nanahoshi/Kishirika/Altofato arc.
A good one for you to analyse is Toradora, more peak anime with psychological talking points.
46:38 XD
Sylphy is definitely the MVP this episode narrative-wise, but Norn was the best acted, best written, and best directed part of this finale. She's rising up to be one of my favorite characters and oddly it's because she fewls the most normal among the whole Greyrat household that her reactions to certain situations are probably the best in the series imo.
Normal, probably according to your religion.
@@CarlosXPertt Also she's the one that's least like a "Genius". Since Aisha and Rudeus are geniuses in their own right (Aisha more a business aspect and all of that). Being very normal she's also quite relatable in that manner, having to grow up around talented people while being quite a normal person that's not especially skilled in something.
Specially her dad issues
Walking Dead was a series that I knew its end ahead of time and it was not what I wanted.
Rather than a tale told in the future twist I would of preferred it if instead the main crew died and Ass Kicker was old enough to fight their way out of the final pack.
Because then I could not have guessed it. The ending they had I guessed to some extent before being spoiled.
If I can guess the end at all then the series is not original enough for me.
45:40 Look.....Sylphiette is amazing and irreplaceable. However, we are stringent Roxyists in the house!
Lolz. IRL, I am a Discordian, and one of our calls is "Hail Eris," as in the Goddess of Discord. But, when it comes to anime, it will always be Hail Roxy!
Hey Im back to thw channel qaiting for oshi no ko s2, till then think ill check out oregairu

Please S3 start with the rat and then jump back before it just to make people stew on it.
The rat is only as important as Hitogami for the plot.
I really wish Ed would have reacted to Domestic Girlfriend, another good anime that I think is hated for no reason.
There goes Norn reppressenting certain political factions (the stereotype at least); by insisting her religion is right and therefore you need to conform to it even if its not your thing...
joking aside I really did not like Norn due to these zealous outbursts she kept having; first when Rudy attacked Paul so she sworn him off then her bout of pity at school and this moment along with a few others.
I just do not like the IRL people or characters in a story that never do the listening but always do the complaining. Always their way or the highway. Sometimes like Norn arguing is enough; but those jerks that just insist on being right are the worse.
Its the later volumes by the time I learned to just not be bothered by her zealous nature.
Your read on Geese isn't totally wrong. That's all I'll say.
Mushoku Tensei is actually the life story of Rudeus it's not even the main story.
If Eris would join the harem, would she be Rudi's husband?
That not right excuse, did Rudy will marry any girl who save him?
I legit have more fun watching you than episode itself.
I totally get it from the anime only perspective. The anime does not do the Light Novels justice, but that's just how it is. As for why the anime made it seem like Sylphy is used to the idea of Rudy probably bringing another woman comes from her time with Rudy's family as well as her time aside Ariel. She saw Paul and his relationship with Lilla and Zenith. Even she spent a lot of time with them while Rudy was educating Eris. Then there's Ariel. The anime left a lot of that stuff from the Light Novels. While being alongside Ariel, she was surrounded by many nobles that were polygamous. Both noble men with multiple wives and noble women with multiple husbands. Luke Greyrat had an harem of his own which was only very briefly shown in the anime (when he first meets Rudy at the school) compared to the Light Novels. She had been a witness to polygamous relationships ever since she met Rudy's family. It became normal in her eyes over the years.
I just wanted to mention this at the very least as the anime over the past 2 seasons hadn't really done much with this part. I'd also like to add that while I enjoy this anime adaptation, I do wish they added in an extra episode in between Paul's death and this coming home. Reason being is there were a lot more details left out, especially the part where Rudy had locked himself into his room and didn't eat for a couple of weeks, barely drinking every now and then, before Roxy entered that room (plus another extra pages of Roxy's thoughts and conversations with the other party members). The anime condensed it quite a bit, but ah well.
The rat is coming
Ed stop cooking the CZcams comments and Twitter . Very few can handle that L you gave them . Logic 1 Internet 0
never again say drinking man gods juices
1:07:10 One of the grandest joys of polyamourous relationships is having the support of multiple people. Unlike monogamy, where one particular person is responsible for all of their partners feeling and needs and issues, when you have two wive, let's say, the load of pressure and resources is held up with more pillars. It is said that a triangle is the strongest shape, no? A chair becomes useful with 3 or more legs.(idk wtf I'm doing with that last bit)
Love shared is love multiplied, as we say. Not to mention kinks are far easier to discover or express with more than one lover.

"Geese is sus"
:aware:
Sylphy best girl.
Roxy is quite great in the light novel, anime adapted her part of this arc quite poorly.
The light novel tells the worst events of season 3 as characters describing the contents of Rudeus' diary from that time, but the narrative doesn't really follow his perspective into it. (The book would have to be sold on a different shelf if it did.) If the anime chooses to show rather than tell what happens, it could be traumatic.
Your friend needs to brush up on the ln an wn he doesn't seem like he knows what he's talking about b beside spoilers
He has a channel where he talks about all lns after reading. He is trying to mislead ED in almost every plot point.

Rudy and roxy's kid helps orsted to defeat hitogami
If I'm being completely honest, I'd rate this episode a 7/10. Normally it'd be a little higher, but unfortunately, immediately after watching this episode I went and watched an episode of a different series that I _absolutely do_ rate a 10/10, and the immediate comparison made the difference between my reactions especially stark. This episode is fine, I have no particular complaints about it, but it just doesn't... _move_ me, if that makes sense.
If I had to choose a favorite episode from this season of Mushoku Tensei, it would probably be the one where Norn's become a shut-in and Rudy tries to talk to her.
Funnily enough, One Piece is a particularly bad example of that phenomenon. I read the One Piece manga, and it is, in fact, just as great today as it was decades ago when I first picked it up-if not better, even! But the One Piece _anime_ actually did experience a notable decline in quality, due to a new adaptation policy. In the beginning, a single episode would cover the events of about three chapters' worth of content, but since both the anime and the manga release on a weekly basis, the anime would catch up to the manga and run out of material to adapt. Eventually, since they wanted not to go off the air (lest they lose their audience/timeslot) and also wanted not to resort to anime-original filler arcs, executive mandate came down that they would adapt one chapter per episode from now on-which, of course, absolutely _wrecked_ the pacing, especially in episodes that were meant to have an action focus.
tl;dr: The One Piece anime actually did, objectively, get worse for a long while.
El no mames me hizo cagarme de risa, que bueno que disfrutaste la serie! Atentamente, un fan.
Hitogami is twitter but smarter.
is someone gonna tell him about.. u know
