This is how fights look like when driver / pilot has brains and doesn't just randomly bash buttons, that first good flip was so well done, he turned sideways to try and get under it and hit the flipper on exactly right moment. Not only Hydra is a good bot, but also good driver who doesn't randomly bash buttons.
He’s the best but the worst. In one hand, he completely dominated every bot he fought. And in the other hand, the driver was a complete jerk to everyone he beat, practically cheated against huge, and threw a fit when he lost.
Petunia was literally propped up behind the hammer, I wonder why they didn't just press the button to drop it and see if they could put their bot back in play? May not have worked, but you'd think you would at least try.
because the hammer was controlled by Hydra. Each Team gets 2 of the 4 hammers in the arena. To which team the hammer belongs is marked by the color of the the paint on where the hammer strikes.
I hate how Kenny always tries to play off of whatever Chris is saying. This is a good example, but I've heard Kenny be in the middle of a thought and stop to start doing what Chris is. Like, Kenny: "I'm really impressed with the durability of Kraken-" Chris: "ah, ow! That has to hurt!" Kenny: "ow ow ow ow ow ow ow."
It all has to do with weight class. Grappling bots are good in the very low weight classes where low forces don't destroy much, it allows the robot to control the fight and win judging. Hammers and Spinners are the best for mid-weight classes because they're heavy enough to create substantial force to deal damage to the relatively lightly armored bots. Flippers are best for the heavy weight classes because the armor is typically thick enough to repel any forces generated by the bots, using the bots own mass against itself by flipping it.

Hydra seems to be the best flipper.
This is what Battlebots refers to as Flipping the Bird.
0:51: They're gonna need a new clock monitor
Holy shit
Womp womp
Petunia accumulated a lot of Air Miles during that fight.
it is supposed to look like a bird
Hydra flipped Petunia 6 times! You Hydra are the ultimate flipper Battlebot!
Yes, hydra is definitely the best flipper, I wish they had actually tried to fight Huge

Bronco used to be but then bronco just got outdated by so many bots now

Reminds me of Apollo launching every bot including housebots.
At least Petunia flies like a real toucan does. 😆
I like that hydra was the only one who broken the battlebot clock
Hey, you can't park there.

@@rayzuke1232 Good to know, thanks!
Wow that bot is as good at flipping peolpe off as Bronco
This video[ is so cool and I vote for hydra. Wow this is almost the same attack as Apollo.

If this bot had to choose a Z-Move, it would be Savage Spin Out. Give it up for Gigabyte!
Gigabyte actually fought hydra
Why is it so zoomed out
Well hey There it’s only zoomed out if you’re on a phone

These crushing bots are nonsense. They have no chance against flippers, spinners nor hammers
hammers bots are quite useless too imo
