Great battle. Saw Blaze was the better bot, this day, but what an ending!

Sawblaze is well shielded against fire being a fire bot itself. Had it not been a fire bot I think blacksmith had a good chance of disabling it. Sadly, his hammer and flame were barely effective at all against sawblade but it was a great fight to watch.

Whenever I see hammer/saw bots the guy in charge of the hammer always has the reflexes of a rock

The reason is latency. It's not like when they press the hammer button it can instantly go down. The hammer takes time to fire as well so that just adds to the latency. Try playing a video game with a half a second of latency, it's hard. So they basically have to anticipate when to fire the hammer. Hammers really are an awful weapon choice for a Battlebot.

@@kdrgaming3344 I wonder if someone could design an automated hammer which could sense motion and judge trajectories and know when to fire... Even a crude proximity detector could be a way around the latency. The operator would just need a hammer on/off control to stop the bot attacking the walls etc.
Hammers would still have no destructive power compared to spinners / flywheel bots, but that's surely a matter for the people who set the rules.

That saw of sawblaze wasn't spinning in the last minute.. Kind of disapointed in that judge decision.. But the one who truly was disapointed is Blacksmith.. They are the unluckyest team with the judge's decisions, i feel sorry for them lol

Saw blaze deserved the win, the pushed blacksmith around the whole match and blacksmith def took the most damage, the only category he could’ve gotten points in was aggression.

Blacksmith took the most damage and got pushed around the whole time by saw blaze. The only category blacksmith could get points in was aggression.
