Terraria, but a Bot Randomly Chooses my Weapon...

- I gave a Random Number Generator complete control over my playthrough...
This is going to be a 3 part series (provided we don't fail) likely packed to the brim with pain and misery. I hope you guys enjoy :)
★Rules★
-The weapon selected must be used against the next boss unless a Re-roll is used.
-Traps may be used to help grind but are not permitted during boss fights.
-A maximum of 5 Re-Rolls are available throughout the whole run
-All bosses must be defeated.
-If no more re-rolls are left and the player is unable to beat the boss, the run is over.

@@97kristis I don't understand why you find that sus, gold armor takes maybe 30-60 minutes to get and max health is also pretty easy to get. He could've been grinding for a short time or maybe for multiple hours, but he cut it out because there's no point in watching him grind... The thing about cash, he probably spent it on the goblin scam artist.

It was a silver shortsword because he forgot a weapon in front of it
The bot tried to give him a tin broadsword but he messed up the list so it turned out to be a short sword. And even then he decided to use copper instead.
So what you’re telling me is that its like gun game with more steps, and it’s more painful? This will be fun.

You should randomize the order of the weapons in the list so that you can make it less dependent on power numbers screwing you over
If its true random then the order wont matter

@@jackfogerty6870 As far as I know, computers use pseudo-random number generators using seeds, which create random numbers, but they aren't truly random since the same seed can create the exact same number. Although there might be a way to generate true random numbers that I simply don't know about (I'm not that far in computer science education)

30:11 This is perhaps the only time, in every Terraria playthrough ever, that one can say the magma stone would have been useful.
One time I used frost armor, magma stone, and cursed flames flask with disks of light against plantera and it actually worked pretty well

Yeah I think that could be a ton of fun. The plan is still to wait for 1.4 tmodloader before going back to some modded stuff but I'll definitely keep this in mind!

If you get another shortsword, you can use melee speed to increase the range of the shortswords somehow, but i recommend that

Watching the video it wasnt actually random, the program just counted upwards really quickly. Watch the numbers a 18:12 and you'll see they just count up really quick.

huh, that sounds like a fun idea, investing the tokens, instead of loosing them for good, and with better equipment this would make the scenario of having to do moon lord with blowpipe much more unlikely, unless he uses all rerolls on one boss, and still doesn't win...

post mech boss summoner is pretty much prehardmode lol. obsidian armor is prehardmode and takes summoner to golem, and also spider armor is the best summon-based summoner armor so it's barely any defense anyway
@@randommusic4u163 yah I know. Summoner is one of my favorite classes, but its just so weak. You go from obsidian to spider and gain like 5 defense (if not less)

Bruh he said he had 33 defence with gold armor, i am doing a playtrough as a mage and my hallowed armor has the exact same defence like wtf
Mage defense is crap but you deal a ton of damage to make up for it
Mage has a reason for it, summoner doesn't. Hallow helmet for summoner is just a wood helmet defense wise.
Yeah, they should've buffed summoner armor after adding whips
I say the reason summoner has the lowest defence is it allows you to focus a-lot more on dodging
