I played and beat terraria calamity mod but every chest we open has a change of giving any item within the game, this means we can obtain a copper pickaxe and some silver coins from a chest to quite literally auric tesla armor and the murasama is were lucky enough. Will luck be on my side this playthrough or will I never get any good items and completely give up spoiler alert I did...

The reason you got obliterated by Providence the first time is because she was in her nighttime variant, which is way more difficult that normal.

Partly true, the night variant is harder but it was because he was in the underworld which buffs her and gives her a unique drop for beating her in hell
@@benjahmin3590 I know, I always prefer to fight providence first in the underworld because it’s much more difficult to take her out of the biome, it doesn’t necessarily buff her, she just uses the crystal instead to the beams
Ngl it is kind of easier if you think about the fact that she doesn’t spawn guardians
That was the wrong way of putting it since she is still harder enraged but her not spawning the guardians is a pro with fighting her enraged

here's an idea: the same thing, except instead of in chests, it's in pots. Also just to make it harder, you can only get pre-HM weapons in pre-HM, and in HM you can only get HM weapons

ngl this challenge started off interesting, but I quickly realized that after the Dungeon this challenge basically is pointless because you basically never open another random chest after that.
I know, half of his playthroughs is just him getting end game weapons and destroying everything!
Your honest attempts and not cheating is impressive.
Just so you dont suffer as much in the future: You can look up class setups in the wiki so you can optimize your build to be much better suited towards defeating the post moon lord bosses. You are supposed to have around 700+ hp by the time you challenge yharon so most of the pain inflicted on yourself was self made.
Good video nonetheless, was relatively entertaining.

Yharon is such a fun boss with a amazing soundtrack prob the only boss I would choose to make the fight longer even though I find it easier than providence now
Providence drops an item called the “Rune of Kos” that when used in specific biomes spawns the sentinels of the devourer

I think you did great! I never played in Revengence mode (only Expert), but you did it with random chest loot and went really far in the game! I'll try Revengence mode one day, but not with random loot, etc..

Isn’t revengeance mode the intended mode? Since it has the two mechanics exclusive to it and it’s upgrades

@@lilcrabbyboi3075 using stealth is a horrible option when fighting because you have to not attack and to get stealth somewhat quickly u need to stand still. Not really a good idea when fighting a boss.

I like the fact that calamity mod allows for non linear progression. The moment you enter hardmode you can fight any vanilla boss in any order. You can craft jungle temple key to fight golem without even fighing plantera. You can even go straight for moon lord. Before fighting any mechanical bosses.
You should spend more time on builds believe me it's fun
I love how he fights every boss without getting better health upgrades and accessories but complains about it being too hard

i was playing calamity with someone too and we got soup cal on our second try but we also had the shorter respawn mod and it was on 5 secs

i tryed this mod and got stuck holding a stack of dyes while i died over and over again to a random potion effect that intantly killed me apon spauning

watching you not prepare a proper arena for yharon or supreme calamitas was painful to watch - there was snow in the scal arena GAAHHHHH-
ok but well done on this playthrough! your dedication is appreciated and enjoyed
Here are some tips:
Make arenas with things like campfires and heart lanterns, it will help a lot todefeat bosses and defeating a boss without an arena will just make it harder
Also, i recommend that you try to max out your health, since doing that will make bossfights much easier
I also dont know if you already know about classes or which armor you were using but just in case you dont know anything about classes or you used any armor you found, i recommend using armors of the class of the weapon you most use
Theres 5 classes in calamity mod, melee (swords), mage (weapons that use mana),summoner (uses minions to attack), ranged(uses things like bows or guns) and rogue (basically throws things)
You can check the class of a weapon by looking at its description, for an example if it says that it does melee damage then it means its melee, basically using the accesories of that class and armor of that class will increasy the damage of the weapons of that class making it a lot better, for an example, summoner accesories and armours increase the damage of your minions and how much you can have
And lastly, if a boss is pretty hard and you cant beat it i recommend you do a nurse house near the place where you're fighting it and heal with the nurse whenever you need it (remember that the nurse can also die)

Here's just a tip, whenever you get maybe post-moonlord, you must have miracle fruit hearts or its gonna make the game 100x worse. Whenever you defeat Yharon, craft the dragon fruit, defeat Ravager a couple times until you get the blood pact, boom, 1.4k hp.
