estonia *exist*
swedish artists: it's free real estate
Wait wait both Eleni Fureira (Cyprus 2018) and Ermal Meta (Italy 2018) were born in the same city?! What are the odds of two competing countries in the same edition of Eurovision has singers born in the same city?
And neither of them representing the country where the city is in.
It ava max not Ana max
Now I can see why Australia is allowed to be part of Eurovision: many Australians have taken part of the contest from at least the '70s!
Is Canada next? ;)

Ryan Dolan born in Strabane, Northern Ireland (UK). Represented Ireland in 2013
Betty Missiego (Spain 1979) was born in Lima, Peru.
Another one would be Betty Missiego who represented Spain in 1979 and was born in Lima, Perú
one member of the group ABBA who represented Sweden, was not born in Sweden. Anni-Frid Lyngstad, better known as Frida was born in Norway.
You have a lot of material to make many parts of this!
Anni-Frid Lyngstad, ABBA,, representing Sweden 1974, born in Ballangen, Norway.
Lill Lindfors, representing Sweden 1966, born in Helsinki, Finland
Siw Malmkvist, representing West Germany in 1969, born in Borstahusen, Sweden

And Secret Garden which represented Norway (Fionnuala Sherry - violinist from Ireland)
Dominika may be Czech but she was born in the USA, her father was playing ice hockey there
Ukraine even slaying for other countries
Ikr, Ukrainian artists are so talented, the 2017 one even came 2nd, the 2009 one is probably the only time we saw a Ukrainian represented Russia lol. Those former Soviet Union countries are actually really close to one another even after the broke up of the union and most of the time they don't even see any problem having singers from neighboring countries representing them. The 2009 one is perhap one of the greatest example of how close these countries really are, because that year's contest was held in Russia and yet they chose a Ukrainian singer to represent them in their home ground, that's maybe never gonna happen again now but back then, it wasn't much of a problem since they did speak similar languages, only different in the writing and the pronounciation and Ukrainian also speak Russian as 2nd language so that's why they could easily sing in Russian without any problem.
@@quangminhtran2916, "similar languages, only different in the writing and pronunciation" - lol what????)))))
Slovak, Polish, actually most Slavic languages are way closer to Ukrainian language as Ukrainian is close to russian. Do not tell what you not know at all
@@quangminhtran2916 Ukrainians can speak russian easily just because of many years of russian-soviet occupancy. That is not the thing we are happy about.
@@quangminhtran2916 You're totally wrong. I'm a native Ukrainian, have never heard a person saying "I love russia"/"Wanna be a part of russia"/"brothers" or anything alike. We have always been closer to Poland and other western countries. Language thing is one-sided, most of russians can't understand a thing in Ukrainian. Maybe other su are close , but not the🇺🇦🇱🇻🇱🇹🇪🇪🇧🇾🇲🇩(peoplewise)
@@quangminhtran2916 they might have a similar background and similar languages but they are defenitely not the same and they are very different as well. Former SU countries are defenitely not 'friends' with russia, they stand on their independence. A ukranian representing russia is NOT the same as a russian representing ukraine, they would not appreciate that. And 90% of the ukranian population can speak both ukranian and russian, because they had no other choice than speaking russian for a very long time in their history. Before this situation, they might be polite and even friendly to each other but they are not close. Most of the former su countries are close with each other, but not to russia. And their languages are as similar as ukranian is to, for example, polish. It's the same thing as for example my country belgium and netherlands, they are in a way connected but also very different and their own country and culture. Oh, and that 2009 artist was only born in Kyiv, nothing more. She's basically russian.
Johnny Manuel and Trey Campbell (Equinox) Bulgaria 2018- born in USA
Ruth Jacott, represented the Netherlands in 1993. She was born in Paramaribo, Suriname.
Also about Russia presenters:
Natalia Podolskaya (2005) - from Mogilev, Belarus

why did they not represent estonia then?
@@lexezlao they tried, they didn't make it through national selection either time. Switzerland picked them internally
@@kadeserenity7293 huh, well that worked well enough for them

You need a part 3, you missed loads.
Yesss she read my comment yesterday I think where I said it about Eleni foureira
I also think that Ann Sophie, who represented Germany in 2015, was born in London. It could also be that she only lived there later for a short time though
You are right, born in London but she moved back to Germany (Hamburg-both parents Germans) when she was young. She also studied in NYC.
Vicky Leandros also represented Luxembourg in 1967. They finished joint 4th place
For the next one, Katrina Leskanich (Katrina and the Waves) was born in America :)
Susanne Georgi (Andorra 2009) was born in Denmark (Kolding)
Linda Martin is also from the north but in Belfast this time
Why is no one bringing up the iconic Nana Mouskouri
Are you including Irish representatives from Northern Ireland? Because if you are, Linda Martin is from Belfast and Dana and Brooke Scullion are from Derry.
Oh, I remember Marie N(Latvia 2002I suppose) was born in Russia
2017 - Azerbaijan's representative Dihaj is born in Mariupol, Ukraine.
The most shocking one to me is Camillo Felgen, which is famous for *not* being a foreigner, being one of the few Luxembourgish to join the club
He actually has the best and worst results for a Lux native

Roman Iagupov (Moldova 2005, 2011 and 2022) was born in Russia, Volgograd
Alejandro abad (Spain 1994) was born in Santiago, Chile and I think TNT (Spain 1964) in Italy
also riskykidd (greece 2014) born in London
Last time I wrote, how many others have presented Estonia. BUT I just remembered, that actually our people have been representing other country too ;) In 2005 Vanilla Ninja is Estonian band, who represented Switzerland ;)
We Icelanders have always used Icelandic people but I know that Eiríkur Hauksson who represented Iceland in 1986 and 2007 also represented Norway in 1991 I think it was so maybe that can be in part 3
i heard the national final has a rule that songs must have an Icelandic version so maybe it's because of that
@@lexezlao yeah that's true but it hasn't always been like that. I remember in the 2000's there were songs in English
@@BrynjarReynisson I guess the rule must've been implemented after
@@lexezlao yep I think it was like 2014 or something.

I think you are missing a large number, I’m guess a lot of the Israeli enters would have been born in other countries, and a lot of the songs from the 70s and 80s would also have been from other countries.
Funny thing is that you see Michael Ben David in the opening part...but he is not even in the video and was born in Ashkelon, Israel!
And REALLY fun fact: 7 Israeli acts was not born in Israel! the most recent is Nadav Guedg-born in Paris, France
Actually, the opening part is not connected with this video, it's just my regular intro ;)
Latvia 2018 born in Brazil
For the next video: 2007 Hungary Magdi Rúzsa was born in Serbia (back then it was Yugoslavia)
You completely missed Romina Power (born in USA but represented Italy twice) and Wess (represented Italy in 1975)
Aruba!!!
So Estonia...do your singers usually just not come from your country?! (I see mostly they are Swedes)
The Netherlands, not Aruba. That is like saying someone is from Wales, not the UK, or Greenland, not denmark
Marie Myriam France 1977 born in Democratic republic of congo
Tanya (Estonia 2014) was born in Kaliningrad, not Kalingrad
Dominka Hašková (we are domi) - USA
Dihaj was born in Mariupol
Guatemala?!?! What? Lol
Yeah, her parents worked there and she happened to be born there
Oh, Kaliningrad?
I find it interesting how all of Estonia's worst entries are from Swedish artists
