>"Non-Japanese people celebrating a Japanese aesthetic is racist."

"Diversity is out strength!"
"How dare you celebrate other cultures diversity!"
â@@phantomJK and there in lies the oxymoron in equality/equity.
How can one celebrate diversity when the entire thing of everyone should be equal actually goes against such an idea?
Either we are all unequal in order to have diversity, or we are all equal and that diversity doesn't really exist.
Non japanese wearing kimono is cultural appropriation XD.
â@@rtbear674 hey guys, look! found another stupid here!
@@strategicperson95 I'll disagree on a very basic thing; they're not looking for equality or equity. They SAY they do, but their actions prove otherwise.
If they WANTED equality/equity, their actions would promote all cultures equally; white culture as well (which I'm fairly sure is a shocker to some that it exists). They would also react the same way whether a "white devil" celebrated a different culture as they would when a, let's say, PoC celebrated a white culture. Therefore, if me wearing a yukata is "cultural appropriation", Neon Genesis Evangelion is also "cultural appropriation". And, conversely, if NGE isn't cultural appropriation, neither would be me wearing a yukata.
People can be equal without being identical. Men and women are equal, but we're not identical. My friends and I are all equal, but we're also all different. And that's okay, being different isn't bad. They can do things I can't, I can do things they can't. We're equal, but diverse.
The primary issue is that the professionally offended in twitter aren't looking for 'equality' OR 'diversity'. They're not even looking for supremacy for the most part. What they're looking for, they hypocrites, is easy 'yes points'. People to just tell them how good and brilliant and right and nice and great they are, without putting any work or thought in their lives. They're looking for the easy way to the moral-praise-high. They are, at the end of it all, the most selfish.
I love how they suddenly remember that people have feelings while ignoring what they did to other people
Oh only when it's their own feelings get involved...
But if its others screw them...
it's always about them..
That's why they don't understand the difference between having a personal biased opinion and actually acting based on factual information.
You can see their entitlement and superiority complex with the things they write. In this case, she said she only wanted to educate others - which translates to "The only reason why you're not thinking like I do, is because I know more than you", which is NOT the case at all.
The psychological term for it is called "psychopath"

Yeah, the people classifying themselves as "African-American, Japanese-American, Chinese-American, etc" need to drop that ethnic part as they are completely ignorant of that culture having only lived in America.
The irony also in using those terms is they originally had a negative connotation to them. Essentially they were terms saying "you aren't a real/true American".
Well they are "True Americans" as they know jack squat of their other ethnic heritage, culture, history etc.
I'm half Mexican, but I don't go around speaking for all Mexicans. Especially when I can't even speak a lick of Spanish.
@@strategicperson95 Yes. So many people here take pride in being "African American" when they are really just American. She did. She put a drawing of how to draw Kimono and says "all kimono wear should be drawn flat chested" then flaunted her certificate of styling kimono or something, only for the original artist of that drawing she used to say "that's only one way and not the only way to draw kimono", so people just blasted her for that until she changes her username, and THEN she did this
It's twitter cancle culture. They are trying to make anime ban by association
@@RelightLowlight Iâd like to know how she reasoned that take
@@luckystarplays1837 iirc she states that the goal of wearing a kimono is to make the chest as flat as possible, as oppose to some artist drawing sexy busty kimono. Not to mention she use someone else's drawing to make her claim, where the original drawing never mention about the flat chest thing, but merely about how to draw people wearing a kimono
@@RelightLowlight but you can see a lot of girls with a great figure in a kimono in anime or in real life. This sounds very strange.

@@vidyastuff3509 I can believe that's her excuse too. Japan has more than enough legit kimono businesses as is.

I grew up in a very traditional family. But because I am an American, I never ever use my asian cultural heritage that I lived through to make anyone feel guilty or different. It makes me wonder if it's because the US itself is a relatively new country on the global stage that so many want to adopt an alternate identity. You can say that you have foreign relatives or that you're descended from them, but it doesn't make you belong to that culture, and I'm sure that'll become apparent if you spend any significant amount of time there.

Her previous tweet regarding growing business was just in reference to using twitter as that method and now stopping because of backlash for braindead takes.
I was talking about this story with one of my Japanese relatives, but I was not translating the term "yellowface" into Japanese since it is a English specific word. She asked me about the word since she were not familiar with it. So I gave a raw translation, and gave the definition which was roughly translated from the phrase "to pretend to be Asian". She asked me why I translated the word yellow. I responded with skin pigmentation like black or white. She responded with Japanese people do not consider themselves to be a yellow people. She then commented saying that term was both rude and insulting. In the end, we found it interesting and humorous that the most offended person was also the most offensive person.
Returning to this story I realize that the term really has no use as it insults those it supposedly defends.
I have a feeling most the people not giving actual points or starting a conversation about the other video probably didn't watch it. Maybe they just saw the thumbnail and choose violents.
How was that out of context? You showed the entire thread, she didn't add any other context, and even if she has it wouldn't have changed anything
and she didn't even explain how it was out of context either. usually, when one says they were taken out of context, they would then go on to explain what the context was...LOL
@@josephkim007 she's like the idiots who yell at publications shouting "their name isâŠ" because they never read past the headline
"She used Twitter to promote her kimono business."
Last time I checked, companies like McDonald's and KFC aren't supposed to tweet shit like telling people who love burgers and fried chicken to cut on fast food and call them fatsos.
> Make bigoted rant on Twitter in a moment of hatred
> Get people calling you out on being bigoted and hateful
> *surprised pikachu*
> Have a meltdown on social media further fueling the fire
> Go private to avoid the consequences
Literally like a kid bullying someone, getting socked in the jaw, and then crying about it. Honestly this is just kinda pitiable and I feel like this person should absolutely get therapy and stay off of social media...
Nah, she's just trying to guilt people into supporting her and to stop people from being angry at her. I don't buy it at all. Just another example of someone getting called out for their terrible ideas and opinions, and feeling embarrassed because of it. They're perfectly fine with attacking others, humiliating others, dragging their names through the mud, but any kind of backlash against them, they start the water works, they become the victim, and it's all your fault that they had to be mean to you. Anyone with an abusive significant other probably knows this routine very well.
Rin " It's you!! You've turned them against me!!"
Hero hei "you have done that yourself"
Reminds of a CZcamsr who posted on their timeline calling Rev and Herohei âsoyâ because they thought their content was âlow effort and cringe.â
I mean, after hearing parallax (which I don't know if it is a name from DC for an entity for the living embodiment of Fear... Funny that) go on with such an observable hate boner just makes that type of grandstanding just funny to me in a sad sort of way.
I think you're giving these people too much credit. The only reason they don't address your point is because they only got as far as the thumbnail before typing their disdain. Twitter activism has never been about making an effort.
Only if she knows that at least half of these vtubers have asian descent/are actually asian in real life
Who knew constantly spewing opinions and hot takes on your business account wasnât a good idea? đ€·ââïž
If she wasn't located in Japan, and had opinions on who should wear kimonos, who did she plan on selling them to?
Wah, i said stupid shit in PUBLIC and got backlash wah ! Woe is me, i'm a victim, look at me I AM A VICTIM !!! In addition, people said stuff to me on the internet so i'm going to quit my irl job and give up on my dreams ! That makes sense, right ?
As a note probably noone cares about: Hero, over the last few days you earned a new sub from me. I don't care about Twitter or the dumb stuff people talk about there. But watching shitshows like this unfold weirdly entertains me.
I'm following Rev for this reason for a while now, but always avoided your videos for some reason. Got curious now during this whole Hogwash Legacy arc and found that you actually are a pretty cool dude.
To this video: It's funny when they say stuff like your supporters "seem to get off of things they make up". Their very comments read like they don't watch these videos, simply go by the thumbnails and get off of what they interpret into those. With this in mind, I wonder where those points of our main protag come from about "erasing her heritage" and "body shaming her"...might have missed something, but none of this came up when you talked about her randomly insulting vtubers...
Also, I literally wonder when people literally stop putting the word "literally" before literally every single word. At this literal point this word literally lost any meaning or significance for me and literally makes me stop caring about their arguments the literal moment I read this word.
The funny bit is besides being an animation trick, Parallax is a cosmic enitity of fear and manipulation against the Green Lanterns.
Why would her kimono business and the reputation of a random twitter account of all things be inexorably tied? Doesn't she live in Japan? Do her customers even know she has a twitter account, would they even care?
These statements are so bizarre, she speaks as if she's the well known leader of a historic civil rights movement or something
It's not supposed to make sense, it's a dumb attempt to redirect rage at Hero Hei for ruining her dreams or whatever.
She cries out in pain as she strikes at weebs.
The funniest is, every thing bad that happened to her was a direct consequence of her own dumb take.
If all it takes for folks to look like idiots is to give them a megaphone and let em speak, then maybe they should look inwards to see what's wrong with their lives.
Just saying
âMy threads are an attempt to educateâ
What a backhanded way to say everyone is stupid and should listen to me. She literally does NOT learn from her mistakes
There's been a lot of that going around lately. Must be something in the water.
I do love that you reporting is accompanied with the visuals of seeing the vast wild survival against crazy blood thirsty animals and you just casually building your defenses.
The Sons of the Forest gameplay is nice to watch too. ;D
Sounds more like she is just jealous over v tubers and want to trash it
Hero Hei wins another fight he didn't even know he was in.
11:50
This sounds like the "Nice Guy" talkin to a girl about her boyfriend that he doesn't like. lmaooooo _"He doesn't deserve you."_
Reported under misleading post that harassed people based on their national identity, everyone should do so too.
I'm asian and I'm quite frankly offended by her being fakely offended by people doing their job where we do not see any problem with, people like this should be met with reprimands.
Getting her to leave twitter is pretty heroic of you. Now she's away from that place she can spend that time growing her business and growing as a person.
Yeah right. Peopel like her don't grow. She will come back worse. Or playing the victim.
Nah, she just made her account protected so she's still gonna be around those people who supports her idea.
And don't take her words too seriously. She's just acting like she's the victim and use HeroHei as her scapegoat for the sh*t she started.
LOL I don't think she's going to grow either her business or herself. She ruined herself with her dumb takes and is trying to blame others for her own mistakes. Shows that she can't see that she's doing anything wrong so 100% she's going to continue how she is and refuse to accept her own wrongdoing
She just
"Oh no only I can do bad to the other
You cannot hurt me"
Lol
People on Twitter don't tend to comprehend what "Objectice" takes/discussions of Factual information is- mainly using their feeling/emotions in a "Subjective" bias viewpoint based on Opinion. These people know they're hypocrites, but delude themselves to pretend they're correct when reality slaps them in their faces. Much love, Hero.
It's so odd seeing these people on twitter going on and on about non issues. Like The whole (and I hate to bring it up) Hogwarts thing. But then you read about Eden Knight, and not a single word. It's truly heartbreaking people keep focusing their attention on all the meaningless bs and let real issues slip by.
They hate you for posting an accurate thumbnail that summarizes the situation but wasnât an exact screenshot of the entire ignorant rant she made lol
Itâs pretty disgusting how bad some of these people flip out over the most little stuff saying your being harmful while in the same breath saying you should die , all the while believing they sit on top of this mountain of moral superiority
