  • RND into the new COPs and ways to "paint" geometry and modify nearby materials using a few of the ways to world to uv space and rasterizations. I'm sure there are better ways to do much of this, please advise

    Hello! Thanks for the video. I believe your description of uvsample at 20m30 is uncorrect...

      Yes sorry @vincentthomas8492 was very tired, I had it backwards, it's looking in uv at Position for uvpaint values. I think that's correct. Thank you for noting.
      I also found uvsample and the xyzdist vex methods have slight differences compared to SOP raster setup to UV which is what the raster setup COP is actually doing inside. But can't use the Raster Setup COP as Extrapolate Boundaries COP doesn't work here. Almost, but up close there are seam issues that are really revealed with uv to uv mapping like here.
      So I made an OCL version that does uv to uv in one node, and also does P in one node, vs raster setup then raster geometry. I'll release that tomorrow.
