An Extremely Thorough 40 Hour Detail On A Lexus LX470 Land Cruiser

The most in-depth detail I have ever filmed. In this video I take a 2005 Lexus LX470 and give it what I would like to think is a fairly complete exterior makeover. This vehicle was well taken care of from its previous owner so the starting point was good, but it was no where near pretty. This video covers every exterior process that took place, a wheel arch cleaning, new wheel ceramic coating, wash and decontamination, PPF removal, headlight restoration, paint touch up, paint correction, and lastly a ceramic coating. I really wanted to document the entire process to properly illustrate the massive aesthetic benefits detailing alone can offer. Including the filming this detail took far more than 40 hours, but that felt like modest guess. I hope you guys enjoy this detailing video. Next up on this video will be an undercarriage refinish. Damn near perfect imo wheel and tire combo! I feel that the SUV looked cleaner de-badged however when you put the new non faded badges on it brought it all together. Looks crisp. Great video as always!!

Hey man just letting you know the work you do is stellar. I used to do detailing, your videos inspired me to use the Griots setup and I've achieved great results. This year I've also gotten into photography just as a hobby, I shoot with a Fujifilm which I really enjoy.
With that said, I understand the effort you put into you work on both talents here. I don't know how you do it. Detailing is one thing, it takes days to achieve what you did here. And it takes days to film a video like this. And it takes days to edit it. And it took years I'm assuming to get the shop and setup you have. Excellent work man, never stop doing what your doing so long as you enjoy it 👍

Amazing job man! I use my cruiser to pull my detailing trailer and also use it for what’s it’s meant for on weekends. Nonstop battle to keep it looking proper for the business. I’ve also been importing JDM Land Cruisers and there is always a major detail/restoration similar to this once rigs arrive from Japan. I feel like I’m partially watching myself lol.

Thanks you so much Kaya! Appreciate you every single time 🖤. So I just used IPA to wipe them down and Gtechniq C5. Only one layer, I maintain them with Gyeon wet coat every wash. Depending on my consistency in the winters the coating will last me 2 years
