Very helpful…
I’m doing my Yaris water pump tomorrow
I think you gave good info ish thank you very helpful i was worried about what i was getting myself into you got a new subscriber from me
Thankyou, followed your directions and successfully fitted a new water pump.
First problem was the alternator bottom bolt can't be withdrawn fully but carefully removed the air bag switch bracket out of the way (two bolts) and it came out.
Another problem I had was removing the old pump, just not enough room between the motor and the body to get the centre spindle over the gasket surface.
Ended up removing the stud closest to the front of the car. Still didn't seem to make much difference but wiggled the old gasket off and turned the pump body around many times and suddenly it just slipped past and came off (in the direction of the front of the car). Don't ask me to explain but there is a position where it comes out without effort.
The rest of the fitment was easy. Thankyou for a great video.
Thank you for sharing your story,
Like i said on the video you have to use a Pry bar, to push the Engine to the left side/passenger side, it should be easy enough
@@IshMotorparts Yes I saw that but couldn't see your method, and I don't have a pry bar. Just pointing out that it does come out normally if you have it in the right position and angle.
Great job on the video man
thanks man for this video very helpfull]
Great video!
Good info
Anyone about to tackle this job, gasket maker works fantastic to keep the gasket aligned to the water pump while sliding it on. You dont have to use a ton just a dab around the bolt holts and around the rim to hold it on like glue.
Thanks for the videos. Does your car has 2nzfe engine?
Que tenia la original se nota impecable
Como lo ensenie al principio este Video, ace mucho ruido y cuando se cambia el camio suena como que el clutch no sirve pero el problema es el Pompa de Agua
Why on earth did they make this fit so tight?! Also I learned on my first motorcycle about how little torque can strip or snap things especially in aluminum!
Yes it's always a learning process
I have a leak, I don’t know what I did wrong I’m so tired I’ve been working all day on it
I think the gasket didn't line up good
Or you didn't clean the surface well enough gentle with a razorblade
@@dooflydetailguuy4349 I would not recommend a razor blade on the aluminum block! I used a plastic drywall mud knife.
5:55 pain in the butt? imagine trying this on a rusty yaris with rusted, rotten nuts you have to chisel off that's a nightmare
