Can we take a moment to appreciate Indy's near Charlie Chaplin-level Vaudeville-style acting? He pulls it off so well. And when he stands up out of the trench and TAUNTS the guys on the other side? Incredible. But I also love, as you pointed out, Joakim's reaction when they find him alone and he just throws his hands up like, "What the fuck? You again?!"

The differences in care, angles, projectile size, and whether debris got stuck would be the biggest factors. Sometimes an injury that sounds insignificant on paper has destroyed a critical structure, too; such is often the case with facial injuries, for example. They are dangerously close to the brain, spine, and huge arteries.

All three Scandinavian countries still have monarchs, so does Belgium, The Netherlands, the UK (as I'm sure you know), Spain, Monaco, Luxembourg, Andorra, Liechtenstein and technically the Vatican state. Knights still exist, but now mostly ceremonial titles.

A stewardess on the Olympic when she was hit leaving port she later was transferred to the Titanic for her maiden voyage. Not wanting to be a stewardess any longer, she went and became a nurse. Serving as a nurse during WWI she was assigned to the Britannic when she struck mines and sank. Injured, she managed to get saved and holds the distinction of serving on all three Olympic class vessels when they were hit.

The only correction i would make here is: He was born of belgian and irish parents, and since ireland in its entirety was still part of the united kingdom, that does actually qualify him as having british citizenship, though also being born in belgium,i believe that means he also had belgian citizenship so he could identify himself as either and still be correct, at that point its more personal preference

The answer was NO, and the king urged him " to get it sorted". A hint that he need this to advance his career . We call this " forced with a gentle hand" . They couldnt go on and hand out so many medals to foreigners now could they, it would serve them better if he were a british hero. He himself couldnt have cared less. He fought for britain coz they got the first pick, was loyal coz he did have morals and quite frankly they offered lots more opportunities for action than others, being an Empire at the time. But he would have fought for anyone else really.

Although he will never be popular for obvious reasons, I think of 1 "contender" deserving also the title "unkillable soldier": the half forgotten but in time legendary Prussian and later German officer (From WW 1, 1915 I believe he was elevated to the exclusive rank of FieldMarshall) August von Mackensen, who was in every war from Prussia and Germany from 1870 (French-German or French-Prussian war) till 1945 (WW II), and Germany had a lot of wars in that time. He is known to have erected a statue for the extreme heroism and bravery of his Serbian ADVERSARIES in Belgrado, during WW 1). He is also known a 1 of the very few daring to oppose Hitler concerning the cruelties committed in Poland during WW 2. His reputation was so legendary that even Hitler could not afford to touch him.

    HOW
Sir Adrian Paul Ghislain Carton de Wiart served in the Boer War, First World War, and Second World War. He was shot in the face, head, stomach, ankle, leg, hip, and ear; was blinded in his left eye; survived two plane crashes; tunnelled out of a prisoner-of-war camp; and tore off his own fingers when a doctor declined to amputate them. Describing his experiences in the First World War, he wrote, "Frankly I had enjoyed the war". He lived to the ripe age of 83.

Yes, his father was Belgian, but his mom was Irish, so he had connection to British Empire. As for Poland, Sir Adrian came here in 1919 with official mission. Then He took part in Polish-Ukrainian conflict, fought in Polish-Bolshevik War, received The Cross of Valor twice - 1921, 1941. He also received highest Polish Military Order (and one of the oldest one's in the world), The Silver Cross of Polish War Order of Virtuti Militari ( Virtue of Military Valor ). Great reaction. Sabaton is unbeatable.🤘🇵🇱
I forgot; after 1924 ( end of active service ), Sir Adrian stayed in Poland because he liked it here. In 1939 returned to active service as the head of British Intelligence in Poland. That's how he was in Poland on the outbrake of WW II.

We also don't really refer to ourselves as a kingdom anymore. I mean, we often use the word "koninklijke" (royal) for certain institutions, like the royal library which is our national library. But yes, our king is more symbolic, even though he has a veto right. He's a public figure who represents the Belgian people.
To put it shortly, if we are referred to as a kingdom, then it's more in a formal setting seeing as we still have our monarchy. But other than that we're just Belgium.

"Let's not forget" is I believe the slogan of WW 2 commemorative activities....Sabaton has made it it's core business to remember and honour those who fought in times that begin to fade away in memory....they are the 20th century historians of metal. Metal has many of the best guitarists, but now metal has also some of the best librarians, so ti seems....metal as an instrument to commemorate a fierce, grizzly and awesome past that shaped the world we now live in.

6:16 Belgium still has a king they have had 7 since 1830 and the current king Phillipe has been king since his old man stepped down as king in July 2013. And after the first world war the only monarchies that ended was that of the German empire who's emperor was also the king of Prussia and the other German kingdoms under the German empire like Bavaria also lost it's king and the Austria-Hungarin empire also ended and the ottoman empire who lost it's sultan the only allied nation to cease exsisting was the Russian empire who became the Soviet Union who killed the tsar and his immediate family. Bulgaria was seen as the smaller enemy nation and the victorious allies didn't really care if the Bulgarian people didn't want to get rid of their monarchy, but tsar Ferdinand 1 of Bulgaria did step down for his oldest child Boris the 3rd who surrenderd to the allies, who in turn striped Bulgaria of all land it got during the war and made them pay the a large cash sum to the victors of the war. Borris the 3rd is believed to have been poisoned by a slow acting poison that would take weeks to kill the person and make it look like heart failure he died in 1943 days after a meeting with Hitler, Boris was succeeded by his six-year-old son Simeon II, under a Regency Council headed by Boris's brother Prince Kiril of Bulgaria. After taking power in September 1944, the Communist-dominated government had his body exhumed and secretly buried in the courtyard of Vrana Palace, near Sofia. At a later time, the Communist authorities moved the zinc coffin from Vrana to a secret location, which remains unknown to this day. After the fall of communism, an excavation was made at Vrana Palace. Only Boris's heart was found, as it had been put in a glass cylinder outside the coffin. The heart was taken by his widow in 1994 to Rila Monastery, where it was reinterred. Simeon was born to Boris III of Bulgaria and Giovanna of Italy. Following his birth, Boris III sent an air force officer to the Jordan River to obtain water for Simeon's baptism in the Orthodox faith. He was pointed to accede to the throne on 28 August 1943 upon the death of his father, who had just returned to Bulgaria from a meeting with Adolf Hitler. Then a massive media campaign was launched throughout Bulgaria in the name of the Tsar to uphold the national spirit during heavy War-times. Since Simeon was only six years old, his uncle Prince Kiril, Prime Minister Bogdan Filov, and Lt. General Nikola Mihov of the Bulgarian Army were appointed regents.
Under his father, Bulgaria had reluctantly joined the Axis powers in World War II but had managed to preserve diplomatic relations with the Soviet Union. Still, on 5 September 1944 Stalin declared war on Bulgaria and three days later, the Red Army entered the country without encountering resistance. On the next day, 9 September 1944, Prince Kyril and the other regents were deposed by a Soviet-backed coup and arrested. The three regents, all members of the last three governments, Parliament deputies, heads of the army and eminent journalists were executed by the Communists in February 1945. Simeon would return to a democratic Bulgaria in 1993 and would become it's 48th prime minister from 2001 to 2005 and returned previously royal land back to his family and he gave himself his royal name back and the people didn't mind apparently since he was quite a good pm and actually improved his people's standard of living among other things.

I may be wrong, but I suspect that this video may have been poking fun at video games. They are laughing and joking as though it's just a game. The unrealistic nurse seems to be able to help people just by injecting then with a syringe or touching them. He uses a non WWI weapon (joking how games don't have realistic weapons.) The way he keeps coming back is almost like a player respawning after dying. And I notice he works his way up the ranks. I even noticed at one point he points at the enemy and it reminded me of a player using emotes. Like I say, maybe I'm reading to much into this, but I really do thing they are having a friendly joke about historically inaccurate video games

The nurse healing people with a touch, the soldier respawning, the inaccurate weapons for the war. At one point he even points at the enemy almost like an emote. Maybe I'm wrong, but that's the feeling I get
