You will love it! i have a 2004 Nissan Pathfinder LE (Platinum) ed. i have owned it for over 10+ yrs and i've done mainly basic maint. to it, other than i had to replace the clutch/cooling fan, new radiator, and belts and both front wheel brake calipers and i've recently replace spark plugs 4 months ago, it now has over 225k miles on it and it gets stronger and stronger no lie!
Haha half your luck. Ive done: dizzy (mines the vg33) after it just stopped running on the highway with a fuel tanker right behind me. Lpg recondition (under bonnet end something weird was going on) Rewire the lpg/petrol switch to stop it engaging the security cut off (part of the lpg weirdness above) All the diff fluids flush and replace. Auto service 5 hours chasing random electrical faults (cd player only playing one disk, clock wrong, fuel flap not release etc etc etc) turned out to be a missing fuse not shown on the fuse box or wiring diagram. Replaced the suspension (front twice after the new front dampers failed due to a manufacturing fault) with 2" lift kit coz why not if you need new dampers anyway. New front rotors and rear drums. New starter motor and alternator. Head gasket weep cured with a can of brown shit from the local spare parts emporium (yes. It was one of those gasket repair bottles and it WORKED) Two sets of new platinum plugs and a set of leads finally cured misfire. New upper and lower rear control arm bushes (do not repeat DO NOT use nolathane bushes theyre shit. In it when i got it. They get hot and go hard and then just crumble to nothing). Handling was ... interesting. Other shit i cant remember In 3 years ive spent about $6500 on it. It was a one owner truck with 142,000 kms when i got it. Now its going great.
Gday from down under. I have an 03 with 2 inch lift, kybs up front and a big stupid LPGtank hanging down at the back lol. Thats some nice countryside youre driving thru. Theyre a good truck even with the 3.3 (we never got the 3.5 here in the r50). I dont go anywhere silly - bought it so i could go gold fossicking and know i could get out if the rain came. 👍🏿🇦🇺🇺🇲
You might not have this anymore, but curious about the LPG tank issue you raised. Is/was it a problem for off-roading? Two of the four R50s I've looked at have the LPG tank in the back, and while I like it for the extra distance when travelling etc, seems like it could be a pain in the arse when it comes to rear clearance. Plz respond. haha.
Greg Lane Arkansas, not anywhere near tennesee. if you live in tennessee though i know, as i’ve been them . that there are beautiful trails in north and south carolina
Trevor Setzer This was actually at stock height. Since then we’ve put a 2.5 inch lift on it and i can go through stuff like that in 2wd. If you have instagram you can follow the build @r50_buttercup
this video convinces me to look to buy one of these

Are you in 2wd on that last one with the wheel spinning?
Trevor Setzer Nope, got cross axled on that section
@@joshrichard6616 Nice. My 99 is 2wd and I'm trying to get an idea of what and where i'd be able to take it.

@@trevorsetzer561 if youre careful you can go a fair way in 2wd. Left foot on the brake acts as a poormans locking diff.

Is it a vg33e or a vq35de engine variant?
VQ 💪🏽
Whats the window tints on this
Shane James McCann Matched the front windows with the stock rear tint. 25% if i remember correctly
@@joshrichard6616 looks great, thinking of doing the same, what state do you live in?
