well jokes aside the very process of actually gaining the trust of sentinelese was a long process, an Indian team actually took on this mission themself to befriend the people their via constantly circling island via motorboat for months and sending coconuts, fruits, toys, etc, initially the sentinelese accepted the gift but were still hostile and showed their weapons to them, and destroyed the toys in front of them dancing(on the beach) but after some months some sentinelese swam near the boat and got some coconuts from the researcher team, and then went back and the opportunity arrived when the researchers met the sentinelese face by face on their island and that also coz the team had a women it gave them a sense of hospitality and the sentinelese even brought their children and women their. So it was not actually just coconuts.

If a massive monsoon rain storm finally puts it out, which I would guess is entirely possible, and probably occasionally happens, they could go months or years before being able to get fire again, how often does lightning strike a small island and start a fire for them to find and capture 🤷
