- Today is yet another myth debunking story about Alexander The Great. Some people believe that Alexander The Great travelled from Karachi to Gwadar through the route of the Sea. Salman Rashid, in this story, discusses the possibility of that "belief" and, of Couse, adds his personal experiences of traveling in the great province of Baluchistan along the way.
This vivid travel story about Alexander The Great & Muhammad bin Qasim will surely keep you at the edge of your seat for the whole of the episode!

I will be doing more episodes on Alexander in the coming weeks! Let me know how you like this one!
Love it. Also, very keen to know more about the Battle of Hydaspes and history of Salt Range.
Sir. I can't tell you how much I look forward to these episodes. Our nation really need to have a factual knowledge of true history of this region. God Speed
@@khuramiftikhar4793 Good idea. Will do.
Sir loving every episode. Just keep them coming. Thanks
Like this one...It would be more helpful if map graphics are inserted....Outsiders may not be knowing location of Gwader, Shumal, Karachi etc.
Yes, that would be a great help.
@@siddharthadas1040 Shumal actually means North. I will try to use the Hindi words too when giving direction. we're working on our map animation. It will get better.
Wonderful Sir! Very interesting details of a geography, extremely rich in history, which not only us India but am sure many Pakistanis too would know little about. Will look forward to the sequel on Alexander.
Alexander willcome in due time. But in bits and pieces. We won't be doing a complete journey from Bajaur to Makran. At least that is the idea for the time being.

Another gem of a programme! Schools should include at least few of your travelogue in history classes. Then Students will find history more interesting and intriguing.
I don't think anyone really has ay interest in teaching anyone history. Also history does not count. Here education is a means only to a high paying job. Erudition is not part of the education plan.
Watching one by one. Carry on sir. Thank you
I am watching you from ptv historical program nagri nagri ghom musafir, I was kid who loved history, now I done master degree in history and still like your program.
As a poor country of 3rd world, interest in history is very less in Pakistan. But its a treasure for us
Pakistanis as a nation do not care about history. The indifference is very likely due to us being fed false and concocted rubbish as history.
Fascinating history.
Thank you, dear friend.
Great to see you sir.
Captivating. Zabardast.
Keep up the good work sir. We in India would not have known these stories ow.
I'm very glad to know that you are enjoying the show.
One of the best episode. Really loved the pictures. Please add more pictures if possible and they should stay longer on screen and titles of location with the picture will be even better.
Noted.
You took us into fascinating ancient times, for a while I didn’t realise that you were tracing Alexander’s return. Brushing up my Urdu too after PTV days 😀. In Gujarati “hichko” is a swing & you used it for your bumpy ride! Lovely episode
Thank you very much.
Wonderful like always. Have been reading you in The News International. Watched you on PTV also.
Thank you very much.
Nice sir

Sir jee thank you very much !! Good one as it has been always. Eagrly waiting for your episode on Alexander campaign. As in all our ancient history this one is bench from which we measure time line before and after and calibrate our historical timeline. With regards
I have very few visuals to go with the story. It might be difficult to carry on talking without them. But we'll see.

sir, like your videos especially debunking 150 age myth.
Simple arithmetic, sir. But we never think critically. We are not taught critical thinking. The result is the way we are.
That's great, wonderful programme, deep research,
Thanks for making such informative videos
Excellent as usual, very informative and interesting.
Thak you very much.
Sir, Please try to have more stories from Balochistan, We need to know more.
There will be stories from Balochistan. Keep watching.
I really enjoyed listening this episode. It's indeed a Mythbuster. My late father spent a lot of time in Makran, Kharan and lasbela district and he was also of the same view. As far as Turbat name is concerned, it may be distortion of Gabar گبر (old zorastarian) that went into qabar and then into Turbat.
Your take on the name of Turbat arising from Gabar is a very interesting idea. And it could right possibly be correct.
Princes of hope is carved naturally, but a mud mound is craved out by mankind.
I doubt.
Sir qila nandna pr bhi aap ne koi vedio bnai hay?

And thank you for getting a haircut 🙂😉
Thank you. But Shah Ji, I got a hair trim last night. The hair you are seeing were last trimmed in late July! The joke's on you!
@@salmanrashid8880Gentleman, I can only see what is shown...the longer hairs in the previous episode vs the last one in which you had a proper trim😉

Arabs being in Kech already was not known to me at all. Sir if possible please do share some information in future episodes on when and through which way did Arabs actually arrive here.
We've already discussed that the Arabs came through Kirman (Iran). But I willd efinitely do another episode on MbQ's invasion.
