    Responsible tourism is what we lack in the north. People come and go littering the environment. Glad to see you are highlighting climate change in your episodes.

    Thankyou sir, inspired by you and other travellers, I have just completed my first solo trip to north. I trekked for 4 days around Nanga Parbat and Rakhiot glacier. I was surprised, how many locals and pakistanis seemed shocked that I was travelling alone and refusing to put my luggage on a donkey. I thought solo travel was common

    • @salmanrashid8880
      @salmanrashid8880 Před 2 lety +3

      No, sir. Solo travel is not the way to go. In the 1980s I was doing solo all the way. I was taken as a spy and ended up in police stations in various places. Was always under suspicion. We don't do solo because we lack that spirit. I know of people asking friends to join them on a trek and when no one agrees, the plan is dropped. The motto is: go in a crowd or not at all.
