This is very helpful, thank you, but I ask you to give me a tutorial on how to ride the Shinkansen train from Osaka to Kanazawa and from Kanazawa to Shirakawa-go. If you can, I would be very grateful, if not, that's okay.
Hello! Thank you for the comment. Unfortunately, there's no direct Shinkansen between Osaka and Kanazawa. You could take the Tokaido Shinkansen from Shin-Osaka to Tokyo and then the Hokuriku Shinkansen from Tokyo to Kanazawa, but this is not a realistic route. However, JR Limited Express train "Thunderbird," which runs between Osaka and Kanazawa, is useful. I have a video to show "Thunderbird" and Kanazawa.

The Hokuriku Shinkansen will be extended to Tsuruga Station in March 2024. From then onwards, it will therefore be necessary to travel from Osaka to Tsuruga by "Thunderbird" and transfer to the Hokuriku Shinkansen at Tsuruga to reach Kanazawa.

Hello Shiba-Shiba! My daughter & I are visiting Japan for the first time in a couple weeks. We will arrive in Osaka & stay at OMO7, then go to Kyoto for a few days, then to Tokyo. Your videos have been very helpful as the trains are what I'm most anxious about.
Is the Nankai desk open after 17:00 if we want to speak to someone to book the Nankai Express?
From my research, the Icoca, Pasmo & Suica cards all operate the same. So I can get any of these cards on my Iphone and scan at the entry & exits of the trains?
Do the the shops accept ApplePay? (Cosme, Uniglo, etc) I want to give my daughter a set amount for her spending money.
I'm assuming there are ATMs in the airport? It sounds like it is a better exchange rate than the Currency Exchange booths.
Is it easy to get an esim at KIX? Should I pre-order? We arrive at 16:50.

The Nankai desk at Kansai Airport Station is open from the first train to the last train.
IC cards such as ICOCA, Pasmo and Suica can be used. Install one of them on your iPhone and tap and go at the turnstiles.
Many shops in Japan accept ApplePay.
There are ATMs at Kansai Airport, mostly from Japanese banks.

Thanks for the video which I need it but Shin Imamiya stsn west exit have lift for people carry big luggage? We plan to visit Osaka next week and our hotel near to west exit. Thank you in advance
Hello! Unfortunately, there's no lift at the west exit. However, there's a lift at the south exit, and the south exit is only 10 metres away from the west exit. Walk to the left out of the south exit and you will soon arrive in front of the west exit. After arriving at Shin-Imamiya station from KIX, follow the route the video below shows to get to the south exit.

Hi! Thank you for the comment. You can use an IC card such as ICOCA to purchase the Nankai "Rapi:t" ticket by using a ticket vending machine. Note that some old machines cannot accept IC cards. In that case, ask a Nankai staff.😊

What the different between the Nankai express limited that cost 1,490Yen and 970Yen
Hello! 970JPY is the price for basic fare to travel between KIX and Shin-imamiya. We can take Airport Express with a basic fare ticket only. However, it is necessary to purchase a limited express ticket, which is 520JPY, to take Limited Express "Rapi:t" in addition to the basic fare ticket.

Limited Express "Rapi:t" ... 1,490JPY (basic fare and limited express ticket)

Cause I confuse when i check the google maps, it ask me to take the nankai kuko line and change train to nankai line at izumisano station to shin imamiya.

i stay in shin imamiya area and what could i say if you staying in group like me these area is not edgy as it seem . itvstill consider safe and i love that area because it has nankai, jr n metro line . whT you need if you alreadyy all that line in your area .
