Hi! As far as I see your itinerary, getting individual tickets is a little better. If you visit one more place such as Himeji, Kanazawa or Okayama (Kurashiki), I think "7-day JR Kansai Hakuriku Area Pass" is better as the ticket covers Shinkansen (high-fare). To travel between Osaka, Kyoto and Nara, the fares are not so high. For example, if you go from Osaka to Kyoto, the fare is only 580 JPY.
