@@AllDunnDesigns It did not end up working for me. Something must be wrong with mine.

@@thebluekeystone7628 2 things you might check - make sure your light machine light (which is above the foot) is on and also try wiping the glass top of the foot off (use a soft cloth and maybe a SLIGHT amount alcohol. The foot works with the light. Good luck - I hope that helps.

@@AllDunnDesigns The light that says "AUTO" under the button came on randomly and only made a tiny button hole. It is no big deal, because I just made them without it.

@@thebluekeystone7628 Even when you make your first one the length you needed? I'm glad you worked it out anyway.

I can get the buttonhole foot to work, but the buttonholes don’t come out the same size. The more I make the smaller they get. I have the 1130 Bernina, but the buttonhole foot is the same.

Thanks for viewing my video. If you don't have interfacing or stabilizer of some kind between the layers of the fabric that could be the issue. Also you can use spray starch for some fabrics. Make sure you have a correct needle for the fabric. It can make a difference - cotton needs a sharp needle and knit a ballpoint. I think that might be your problem. You might also clean the top glass on the foot with a soft cloth and make sure you have the light on. If your bulb is burned out it won't pick up the reflection correctly. Hope this helps
