- One of the better Bernina machines. I’d rather have an 830, but this one’s ok if the electronics are sound.
If the electronics go south, grab your wallet and hope that the parts are available.
I have one and I absolutely love it. Paid $300 for it on Facebook marketplace.

I bought one yesterday for $400, all presser feet, etc plus a walking foot. I have 2 1230s and never use the alphabet or keyhole button hole, so I am anxious to try this one out.

Just bought one for $250 with everything included even all the presser feet. The 1008 is my favorite without a doubt but this one will be interesting to learn since I’ve sewed with some new singer computerized machines. Do you perhaps know how to attach the knee lift? Great review also!
@@Milkmancarti just put the knee lift in the slot on the front lower right.
It looks a lot like a Singer 6268...
There are definitely some similarities with the touch buttons etc. Both from the same era.
Maybe Singer has a good corporate spy network. 😂😂😎👍🏼
