Isnt one of the other selling points that you can use it to search for fire cyberse cards using Cynet Codec without using Powerload talker? Surprised it wasnt brought up
That's why I'm happy about it. Achichi searcher without needing Fire Phoenix.
Yea, it's the main selling point even. Though beyond a salamangreat package, there isn't a card to search like Sea Archiver/Parallel eXceed/Gadget that inherently go +1 in addition to their summon, making Mathmech addition/subtract, salamangreat cards, or Degrade Buster (if feeling spicy) the best targets to bring out.
Still, it's easy to summon, nets you potential advantage and lets you search from the last attribute the archtype didn't really use. The arrows aren't sideways making it not useful for U-lock nor do codetalkers "need" more draw power. Still at least worth considering.
Also, being FIRE attribute means you can search extenders like Degrade Buster with Cynet Codec.
Mathmech Addition/Subtraction are the cards most used after a search from codec.
the only good fire target is addition or subtraction and theyre only ok.
We need more PYRO-Type monsters!!

For an anime deck, yes Degrade Buster would be the perfect target for Cynet Codec.
Not gonna happen outside of that. (Unless Konami decides to make more Cyberse monsters with great effects if they're banished)
Also ignister decks can finally ditch phoenix since heatsoul is a valid target for A.I meet you

Currently there are 26 Link-3 Cyberse monsters, 37 Link-2 Cyberse monsters and 13 Link-1 Cyberse monsters. So Decode Talker Heatsoul can special summon a lot of monsters (76, to be precise).
Can't wait for this shit to drop in MD, I build code talkers there and it has to be one of my favorite decks ever.

@@jayclearmen411 Ah yes, Dark Guardian. Only Summonable with a Spell that banishes Gate Guardian from your Graveyard and pays half your LP, and that effort for a 3800 ATK beater with destruction protection.
But yeah, it hasn't even been printed in the OCG yet, although given the existence of things like the yearly History Archives giving us a few cards and archetypes from each anime, or referencing moments from the anime, over the years, we might see it . . . amidst the sea of cards whole-ass archetypes from GX that never saw print, like Curry Spice, Advanced Crystal Beasts, Doll Parts, Kabuki Masks, Maiden in Love, Mystic Dragon . . .
GX and VRAINS both had the problem of completely ignoring what was going on in the anime if it wasn't the protagonist's cards, meaning they're both miles behind and need more History Archives than the other anime to catch up.

looks like a mix of Soulburner & heatleo together with a few stuff of code talkers
It looks like Heatleo because it's a fusion beetween Decode Talker and Heatleo, a quite particular one since they already share the same stats: link 3, 2300 atk, same arrows.
Is called Heatsoul because it is Heatleo "attack" in the anime, and another reference to the anime is his drawing eff, because Soulburner skill's in Speed duels lets him pay lp so that he has only 100 left and draw 1 card for every 1000 loosed lp.
Also he is a more usable version of Powercode Talker turning easier to make a full Attribute combo Codec.

If this card is sent from the hand or field to the GY as material for the Link Summon of a "Code Talker" monster: You can target 1 Level 4 or lower Cyberse monster in your GY; add it to your hand, or, if this card on the field was used as material, you can Special Summon that monster instead, but negate its effects. You can only use each effect of "Code Exporter" once per turn.
Weirdly enough, Code Exporter is in the OCG only yet still in Master Duel. While Heatsoul is also only in the OCG but hasn't been released in Master Duel yet

Acually i do see 1 way you would use it in the arrival combo but you still wouldnt because your life points wouldnt be low enough to use its other effect. I was thinking do the standard combo until wickid but instead of splash or trans you make heatsoul,use effect draw 1,then banish him for trans or splash and continue with the combo. This would be great if it could work but nope,you need 2k or less lp :/
If you are going first and you drew some extenders i guess you can make heatsoul to draw one card more, extra consistency is good in my book

As other people are mentioning, Heatsoul is useful for Cynet Codec to search a Mathmech. Also, it was… a little painful to see your depictions of about 10% of Code Talker lines where you don’t search Codec or keep extending.

Heat Soul Banishes it self so you can't bring it back with Transcode talker because Transcode brings monsters back from the grave, not banish zone.
You can bring back the Code Talker you used to make him then continue the plus 2 combo he left you with (fire attribute “Cynet Codec” search + his draw effect)

@@darklaw7635 you need multiple attributes to summon which is easy since there is many different cyberse link monsters that are different attributes unless you are locked into a certain like marincess maybe.

As I'm familiar with that archtype not rly bc their gimmick is around being linked together for protection effects & killing ur opponent in the following turn
You don’t generally use heatsoul in u-link cyberse. He’s used more in a trap-centric build where you just out grind your opponent with 1:1 trades

Why be grateful for this card the TALKERS ARC type dont need anymore support, but here we are... cant wait to see how annoying this card is with access code talker. Anyone else feel like using only 3 arc types now? because the rest suxs.
Its a weird card that only exists because anime. I have never seen Code-Talkers used except for Transcode for its revival and Decode at the start of MR4, when there were no other good Link Monsters.

Excode talker is used The normal code talker is used inverted code talker is used sometimes shooting code
You only use transcode the 2 small boys, our lord and savior Heatsoul and Exocde(the green one) in code talckers. So basically you have good tragtes for you op searcher nice. Don't really count access code becauae you play accescode in everything basically

Bit of a correction: The Coder-monster effects require you to have all materials on field to be able to summon a Code Talker. They replace 1 material, which means it needs to be on the field.
The orange main deck codetalker Monster was sent from the hand so the effect It activates Is "send cyberce Monster from deck to grave"
And he did, dotscaper special summoned from the grave with his effects
If the code talker monster was sent from the field the effect would have been: "special from the deck a cyberce Monster"
@@tommasofabbro2109 Yeah, but that send is the result of the Coder monsters replacing a material for a Code Talker Link-Monster. But according to rulings they can only replace something if you could already use your materials on field for the Link-Summon. And you can't replace a Link-2+ monster and treat the Coder-monsters in the hand as anything more then 1 Link-Material. If you replace a monster with a Link rating of 2 or higher the Coder monsters can only be treated as basically a LInk 1/ no Link monster.
I am afraid you are incorrect. You see, the effect of micro coder, much like that of cards such as cybernetic fusion support the the djinn of rituals series, treats monsters that meet their criteria(itself being in the hand for coder, monsters being in the graveyard, hand or, field for cybernetic fusion support, itself being in the graveyard for the djinns) as meeting the requirements for being used for the summon in question(being on the field in the case of link summoning), meaning you can use micro coder even if the number of monsters on the field alone isn't already enough
