Props on this install location. I've got a 3rd gen 4Runner and space for a twin compressor is even more at a premium inside those engine bays. I found your video and came to the conclusion that this makes the most sense for what I've got going on. Thanks for putting this together and showing an outside of the box way to tackle this install!
Great video, just had mine moved behind the grill from over the fuse box on my 2020 SR5, learned the hard way that the wrong mount driver side can be a disaster. Passenger side on the SR5 or lower trim is not possible because of the brake lines, not an issue on the Offroad or the Pro because the brake booster is integrated. I run front and rear lockers off of the ARB manifold. I also control through a Switch Pro, Highly recommend if you're going to spend this amount of money anyway. Can turn the compressor on and off using their app when airing up, 5 extra switches after the compressor, front and rear lockers for lights etc.
Thank you for the great video! Can I get more info on your air hose setup with that splitter? Seems like an awesome setup for quickly airing up multiple tires at once. Thanks!
I actually made a video a while back on my 4 hose, I’ve updated it with newer parts though. czcams.com/video/5Vsphvex2Qo/video.htmlsi=D3LViZ9XYr6ePzcu It’s similar to the morrflate system
Hello, Two questions I'm hoping you may have the answer to. I just bought a twin compressor, manifold, and coupler. Thanks to you I realized I got the wrong coupler. These items haven't arrived yet but I am trying to run a line from the manifold to my coupler as I want to mount the coupler to my bumper so i don't have to open the hood. What kind of hose do I need to purchase to run from the manifold to the coupler? Secondly, where did you get that air-up kit that appears to run to your two tires? Thanks for your help. Take care and Happy 4th!
Personally I would just buy another stainless steel jic-4 from arb, what ever length you need. You would probably have to buy another jic4 fitting to go on top of the manifold too. So it would go something like, manifold-> fitting-> hose-> coupler. You could always run a barbed 1/4 npt fitting, to a regular 1/4 npt hose, to a 1/4 npt barbed fitting, and then a 1/4 npt coupler too. Then just use hose clamps to secure them. The sizing of the threads I’m not sure of off the top of my head. The 4 hose kit that runs to my tires I actually DIY’d. I made a video a while back about it. I did make some slight revisions but it’s pretty much the same. DIY 4 Hose System For Your Compressor, Save Yourself Some Money! czcams.com/video/5Vsphvex2Qo/video.html But if you’d rather buy one it’s basically the same as a Morrflate 4 hose. Hope this helps, happy 4th!
Thanks man, a lot of it had to do with my old Instagram that was on its way to 10k before it got banned for no good reason. I did a lot of networking on that account and got involved with Trail Tacoma, the sister company of Trail4r.
@@HebrewNomadOverlander I did start a new Instagram @_roamwithjon. Sucks, but what happened was my Facebook got hacked through and old email I don’t even use anymore. Since my Facebook and Instagram were linked, my Instagram got banned with my Facebook. Tried for just about a month and a half to get it back before I gave up 🤦🏻♂️

I’m actually debating on switching over to a switch pro, I thought the garmin power switch would have enough switches but I think I need a couple more

@@RoamWithJon thank you so much for the info Sir!
How did you get sponsored by the bigger companies being a relatively small channel? Congrats on the new setup

@@RoamWithJon Man you serious? Did they ever give you a reason why they did it? This isn't cool at all. Did you start another instagram?
