My god MikroTik. You’ve done it again. My eyes are bleeding and my hair is blown back.
Keep up these bad ass enterprise level hardware releases. Perhaps can find a way to manufacture to get into distribution to maybe eat up sales from a few other known vendors….
    Thank you.
PS: I’m hopeful for new & more 2.5Gb switches for SMB and home labs, that i between 10Gbe jump.
Patiently waiting for new capsman release that supports wave2 along with wifi6 products

Hate to tell you, they are not enterprise level. NOT YET. LOVE the 100g switch, but 4 ports makes it home lab / development lab, NOT enterprise level. It is on the way, though...

From a technical standpoint the 518 has 2x100 + 16x25 is 6x100gb optical draw versus the 4x100gb of the 504. So on that alone it makes sense it uses more power. I really like the added versatility of this product too even able to accomodate 1gb SFP, where the 504 could only do the larger 10-25-40-100gb formats.

@Mikrotik just want to verify, will these new 100GBE switches support MLAG between each other? Is that feature only on RouterOS or is it available on SwOS? Are these features only available via CLI or can they be implemented via winbox or GUI?
