- Our first 802.11ay 60 GHz (+ automatic 5 GHz failover) devices in three variations:
a) Cube 60Pro ac - a point-to-point CPE for bridging up to 2.4 km
b) CubeSA 60Pro ac - a sector antenna to connect multiple 60 GHz devices
c) Wireless Wire Cube Pro - a kit of two preconfigured Cube 60Pro ac devices - Věda a technologie
Maan, that YT channel is fire. No other hardware maker isn't that open for community. Thanks Mikrotik!
Very excited to get these in our hands. We have about 1000 802.11ad CPEs/Customers and can't wait for the next generation.
Ohhhh herro Jon Wang
This is impressive tech that is kinda flying under the radar, Im a fan!
Great work MikroTik. I have been using your products for nearly 20 years.
Awesome, I may have to rethink laying that fibre cable down the hill........ A great way to get internet down to a more local AP by the water.
Still got the weird back connection, I have an nRay I installed and trusted the gland with a slight down tilt (just as you show in the video), and now it’s dead because I didn’t add additional water protection. Thank you for the pain!
Holy. Butts. THIS IS INSANE.
Will there be a Wireless Wire Dish Pro with more antenna gain for a slightly better range? Like 5km spec, 10-15km in practice.
¿Cuando sacaran una gama de productos para GPON? Todos los productos que he usado son muy buenos.
This looks like a great product for an in-town small WISP concept to snatch up a few handful of businesses/apartment complexes. What's availability looking like?
How will these compare to the nRAY product? Will there be a new long range 802.11ay DISH version? I still have the first 802.11ad LHG 60GHz Wireless Wire Dish in operation on a 1471m link. Looking forward to an 802.11ay long range Dish product!
@mikrotik will this device support channel 6 in future release and will you add an ad/ay mixed mode or ay mode only to support more cpe?
Can this be installed in a tilted position on a horizontal pole like the old cube? 90 degrees tilted because of the limitations of the mount.
Great product releases. MikroTik uses mature hardware, unlike UBX......
These have GPS capability. routerOS 7 and the new Marvell switch chips we will see more hardware...
Once MikroTik releases new 2.5Gbe POE Switches then we will see wi-fi devices with 2.5Gbe interfaces. Walk, before you run is the mindset.....
What is „channel 5 support“ and what is the relation to the 2.4km? Maybe I will create a video using this device…
Hello Andreas, you have fans among our employees. We would love to help you out and answer any questions you might have, please contact us: marketing@mikrotik.com
@@mikrotik Sent you an mail. No answer so far 😞
Performance looks good - shame about the form factor... We have about 100 w60g (x3) units that we use for temporary connectivity. They all fit in 2 hard road cases for transport.
You say they are backwards compatible with the AD chipset (our current stations) can that be in a mixed environment? both AD and AY stations to one PTMP? Is there any performance gain/loss for using AY AP with AD stations?
What are the chances you will bring out a 180 deg x3 antenna? I get this might make it more complex for the 5Ghz antenna but 180 is more important for us? what are the chances we could we hook this up to the old w60gx3 antenna?
Hello,i'm wondering whether we can measure the power of the 60 Ghz devices (both transmitter and receiver) ? Because we might use the device to do some scientific research.I will be very thankful if you can reply.thank u.
just bought a pair and im trying to rehouse them. how do i get the housing off? still stuck on with screws removed
1 gig port on the AP? Neutered.
I love it already! What about the pricing and eta? Have some unmounted Nrays and think about to sell them to use this fantastic devices!
And are 10gig sfp+ channel bonding ay devices coming up? I'm missing that from mikrotik!
What is the max distance at 60GHZ ? Support channel 5 and 6 ?
Are there going to be indoor 802.11ay devices? I was hoping for some WiGig type stuff at insane speeds.
Indeed if Mikrotik would sell a dock + m.2 cards I'd buy it in a heartbeat. It would be sweet for docking mobile devices like gaming handhelds also. I am up and down from my desk with my laptop all the time, I love to get rid of my clunky dual USB C dock.
Can you remove one of zeroes and make it 6GHz wifi 6e. Finally. Please.
CubeSA 60Pro ac beam angle only covers 60 degrees is not enough, I love the old wAP 60Gx3 AP which cover 180 degrees, but that wAP does not have 5Ghz failover, what a pity. Looking forward to CubeSA 60Prox3 ac
Pro ay product with 1 gig port, very pro. Also from experience the cable entry arrangement not the best for wet environments many DynaDish failures with the same setup!
Looks like I am not the only not noticing that ! They have the most awesome products, but how can this be marketed as 802.11-ay when there is zero chance of ever going above 1gbps ?
@@fluppir it's not just about peak throughput - using 802.11ay means these will be able to hit the full 1Gbps over a longer distance than the 802.11ad models. I do think it's a bit stupid that these don't at least have 2.5GbE, though. Perhaps they should've been called "Cube60 LR" rather than Pro...
@@neggles - yup - 2.5 would at least mean you could get 1gbps full duplex. I think SFP+ is just a better industry standard to comply too. I just find it weird that they are sill not adding SFP to products like these, where the technology can definitely reach at least 1.003 gbps ...
@@fluppir These devices are intended to be powered over the ethernet cable, which does not work so well with fiber.
@@Rob2 so just add a sfp port?
so whis this, i can make an ptmp with 4 clients, right? CubeSA 60Pro ac + 4xCube 60G ac?
Can I connect a Wireless Wire nRAY device as a CPE to the CubeSA 60Pro ac, Wireless Wire nRAY devices come from the factory as master and slave
Hello, the distance reached of 2.4 km is in the frequency of 60ghz?
How much speed can we get at 2.5Km
what about sfp or sfp+ port instead classic ethernet ??
These devices are intended to be powered over the ethernet cable, which does not work so well with fiber.
Awesome 😎
What a shame this doesn't have the SOC from the nRay which supports 2.5Gbit Ethernet
It seems daft to have a 802.11ay product with only 1Gigabit ports on it.
Apart from that, this is a nice looking product !
What a shame that people think 2.5Gbe is needed at all when 10Gbe sfp+ costs close to nothing.
nRay not support 2.5G
@@genpsi the chipset does, Mikrotik just did not use a 2.5Gbit PHY
@@D9ID9I 2.5Gbit has the advantage of being able to power the radio via POE
@@D9ID9I I take it you want to use Power Over Fiber to power the device on ?
Why no separate management interface? :(
When can we expect 802.11 k/v/r and wave2? Especially needed on hap ac²
This video is not about Wi-Fi
@@mikrotik the question is not related to this video specifically. I'm trying to reach out to you and encourage you to bring these long-awaited features. Also it would be about the time to bring in the 802.11ax into the game. You're kind of falling behind your competitors.
@@mikrotik we know, it is just we are losing oportunities for Aruba in our case. Would like to see nCap in a wave2 form.
Hello, what is the CubeSA sector width? 60° or 180°?
EDIT: NVM found it in brochure, Antenna Beamwidth for 60Ghz is 60°, 35° for 5ghz.
Beamwidth is the wrong term, since this has beamforming the actual beam is not going to be 60 degrees wide.
When Winbox Dark mode?
Only 1GBE uplink?
Anyone know about 60ghz and oxygen absorption?
How many clients and half channel capable?
8 clients
no half channel
Is that 2.4 km distance reachable over the 60GHz, or is that a 5GHz backup (as "channel 5" is mentioned)?
60GHz, of course we would not use backup frequency as the reachable distance for product as a whole
@@mikrotik Perfect, thanks! It is just that the "Channel 5 *" is mentioned in docs, so I thought the asterisk might mean some further comment / condition, which I did not find further described :-)
There are no performance specs on the 60 gig. Very confusing documentation.
CubeSA 60Pro doesn't need a roof?
No
Spec sheet anywhere?
This is an unlisted video. If you received the link, it included a spec sheet
hi, I need help to reconfigure P2P using this device if its true no configuration is require since my engineer just pass away on wednesday due to cardiac arrest. I really need it to do live streaming for broadcaster in malaysia and previously I use DynaDish but its not available and hard to configure for novis like me. Please help me and thank you and btw my engineer is the one that open my eyes on your products here in malaysia
What is Channel 5 Support? I don't understand if this is able to do 60Ghz connections to 2.4Ghz with "Channel 5" support, or that means that on the 5Ghz failover - it can go 2.4Km. You initially say that it can reach 1Km. This video is confusing and unclear. What is the sustainable distance for fast 60Ghz connections? Please make the clear.
I need a Shirt!!!
Am I the only one seeing a CCTV camera there?
Yes please, MUM will come back right?
Why? :)
@@mikrotik because I miss you guys 😁
I guess? Still not what I want or need. I want an 802.11ay PtMP system with 2.5GB POE or 10GB POE port capable of over 1Gbps FDX throughput. I want ALL the channels in one device from 58GHz to 70GHz. I want GPS sync so I can do up to full 360 with multiple sectors and scale area wide patterns efficiently. I want channel bonding to increase throughput to 4Gbps FDX. Someone alert me when THAT platform arrives...
it has gps
It looks like an IP Camera lol
Additional feature. You have your data link up, plus people will thing you have more cameras than you do
60ghz waww...
New logo? I DON'T LIKE CHANGE
tested on people or with people ? we'll see... just watch the manufacturer's forum as it's a great product 🙃
Где сетевое оборудование? Его нет в продаже ни в одной стране! Что вы рекламируете каждый день!? Где поставки сетевого оборудования?
Mikrotik, these don't work. We deployed 2 sectors and 12 Cube60Pro AC's at a fairground for a recent event and had nothing but problems. Constant flapping and very strange issues with bonding that rendered them nearly useless. Can you please respond in your forum and iron this out before we return the entire lot? There are a number of other folks reporting the same thing.
Forum is for user to user support. Please either contact the seller, or MikroTik directly by email or support portal 🙏we will do our best to help you
Mikrotik TDMA & GPS sounds like a joke. Will some external company do this for mikrotik?
What are you talking about?
@@mikrotik Mikrotik Forum .... NV2 10 years road to nowhere. TDMA p2mp not with mikrotik.
Do you really believe yourself about that just plug and play and done?
To pierāda mana un citu foruma biedru pieredze. Starp citu, būtu ļoti jauki, ja Jūs beidzot apkopotu un publicētu informāciju par to, kāds kurai 60 GHz iekārtai ir centra TX sektors, lai varētu sekmīgi noregulēt antenas! :)
1 Gbit port only ? seriously ? Not interested.
It's an affordable ptp bridge with close to gigabit speeds. What did you want multiple ports?
No, I am not ready to move to shitty wifi and remove the cables.
Give me a ccr2116 with SFP only please. Stop with the 1 gig bullshit.
This is not WiFi at all.
