When you look at his whole arsenal nobody matches up! The man was a musical Genius!
Preach Ray preach, NO ONE MATCHES UP. Not michael jackson not Jimi Hendrix. Both are good but prince was from another space and planet. peacenchickengrease!
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Prince's catalog is deep and powerful. It's nice to find people discovering 'deeper' cuts. He performed things live that he never recorded in studio.
I as a huge lifelong fans haven’t seen everything, I’m gonna deep dive on my other channel the views here are surprising/not surprising
Greatest Musician/Entertainer of the 20th Century
Facts although as far as entertainer I’d put Michael right there as well IMO
Prince was and still is the greatest!!! He was everything you looked for in an entertainer!!! Every single beautiful thing!!! 🌟💖🌟💖🌟
Prince could dance sing play guitar, write songs, the man was a musical Guiness.
Prince was definitely the best. The problem is that people always compare him to someone else who probably was better at guitar, or other instruments; better at dancing, better vocalist, better song writing, etc. They don't get that Prince could do it all and be pretty damn good at all. Maybe Prince laid out himself a little too thin to get the respect he deserved, but as a true artist, he followed his heart and did whatever it took to expose his art, regardless of whatever anybody thought or said
Yes, preach!!!!!
@@leodejongful Stevie ray vaughn and stevie wonder and frank zappa. after that no one comes close.
except prince of course. But prince was like all of them guys rolled up in one package. True Artist and the masses will slowly see he is #1 THE GOAT
Prince "the great". The true guitar god.
Prince is the very best, a genius!
A once in a life experience.
An exquisite singer, song writer, performer, guitarist, composer, in truth an epitome of an Artist.
Nothing should ever be said and everything should be sensually witnessed to understand this.
A complete package. A perfect combination of awareness, love and pain gave birth to a legend, and that man was an experience incommunicable.
My favourite entertainer OF ALL TIME!! (and that's saying something!) He wrote everything, arranged everything, produced everything, performed everything. ALL genres. He was indeed a musical genius and I miss him 💜💜💜
RIP the purple one..to me he was unmatched.. the one true goat
Prince is THE Greatest to EVER do it.
Prince was way ahead of his time way ahead of his time he could say one year I'm going to play a Rock album next year pop album a jazz album he defied what the music industry really wanted him to be or do you know when he came out with around the world in the day it was a totally opposite direction of purple rain they wanted another purple rain so he went the other way off the charts of what a way different sound he was phenomenal and deeply missed. The Beethoven and or Mozart of our generation !!!!
more than that, he also played a myriad of instruments , and danced like no one else
Just pure beautiful genius 💜 love him with a passion 💜 there will never be another as good. Missed beyond belief 💜
John Blackwell I miss you brother, the things you did on them drums.
I love this performance. He was the absolute whole package. He became the guitar in this one.
I could listen to those guitar solos all day
hauntingly beautiful.
the world has gone to shit..but there is still Prince available on youtube now (bows in gratitude).
I adore Prince. The only guy who could wear ruffles and heals and still get all of the ladies. When he passed my husband and both of my children called to check on me. I was dumbfounded with the news. He was a musical genius. He could sing, dance, play instruments, write and produce music for himself and for many others. An amazing talent gone way to soon. 💜 💜 💜
I followed this man from day 1 and he was the most powerful new energy that ever came to be.
Every note every scream every strum every visual moment was sheer perfection and his vision was exceptionally perceptive on every level.
He was an absolute original genius and I adored him his guitar was hauntingly on point he knew how to move you and captivate you on every level.
Love his spirit 🙏🏻✨ and all the pleasure he gave all so much love 🕊
Under Prince's fingers, that guitar can talk....and what stories does it have to tell 💜
I am loving your facial expressions while he plays. I believe my reactions are too like yours...that man, Mr. Nelson was peerless 😍❤️🥰
Saw him live twice...most underrated guitarist ever... I am so excited that you are finding some of his old stuff. I would love to see you react to his MTV unplugged performance. The man was a genius. He created funk.💜☔️💪
Dig "Joy In Repetition...One Nite Alone...The Aftershow" sometime; it is an Eargasm!
Yesssss
Cant believe you've reacted to this!! AND a live performance of this!! I have watched this over and over and over. You're the only reactor I've seen on here to dig deeper than Rasberry Beret! Thank you for this!!! So much more to Prince than people realized. I was one of those people, sad to say. Didn't realize until after his passing. Making up for it now! Oh, and did you see him say "not this time" at 8:40? Yessah! And Ms Candy singing and on sax...exceptionally talented! Thx again. EMPTY ROOM LIVE MONTREAX 2007.. playing with a cut thumb, just licks the blood off a d never misses a beat. Amazing guitar solo. I'm shutting up now lol!
I will officially be entering the All Things Prince rabbithole on my other channel, so that's all prince music and proteges
@@DramaSydETV So exciting to hear. Cant wait!

Embodiment of music soul passion and pure excellence Where ever u are brother prince I'm guna still thank u for all u did and made me a better person and the world a brighter place
Wow amazes me still even though his vessel is no longer of this earth But prince is the gift that keeps giving,Man I miss him 😢
🎸🎸🎸playing outstanding!!
This and Joy Of Repetition on the same album. ALWAYS must haves on any Prince slow jam tape I made back in the day. Went on to burning CDs and now on my Prince Slow Jams playlist. You could go for HOURS with just his slower stuff. Nevermind his upbeat stuff that I like to call Purple Funk. The man was my absolute favorite musician, hands down. Just listen & enjoy.
Insane tone on guitar.
Prince kilt this live performance. Sweet segue into "The One". This should be from one of the shows on his Musicology tour if it's 2004. And that's Elisa Fiorillo, one of his wonderful background singers, coming in to sing Falling...
U R so right--"Prince was one of the greatest to ever have done it. Drop the mic." Well said!
That's Candy Dulfer on his 2004 Musicology Tour she's his saxophonist, Elisa Fiorillo was on his 2009 Welcome To America Tour
Musicology tour opening night in LA
Candy
Love your reaction. This is from his live Musicology tour that's why it ended like it did. He immediately goes into the song Let's Work. You've step into it now check out all his videos and enjoy the ride💜💜💜💜
Prince always let the mood dictate when to go hard on the guitar and when not to, but he's has always been recognized as the best. They attempted to ignore his skills because he was so good at so much. Oh, he's now placed in the top 10 greatest guitarist of all time.
The one and only 💜💜🙌🏼
I was a huge Prince fan back in the day. Never got to see him perform live, sadly, but the man was an amazing musician.
💯
Prince fan back in the day? Really?
@@phunkidruma Yep! Why the attitude?
Damn that was beyond awesome! Can you even imagine what is in his vault?!
It’s all dribbling out. 1999, Purple Rain & Sign o’ the Times have all been reissued with tons of amazing Vault material added.
Only god can judge me. Prince said
Graffiti Bridge is such an underrated album.
Facts!!!!!!
Yes is the best. Yes brother
I've always been a Prince admirer. Unquestionably the G.O.A.T. He was the embodiment of music.
You are SO RIGHT 🙌🏼🎸👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
I wish folks would stop comparing Prince to MJ and all the rest because there is no comparison....Maxwell said it best .... at the B.E.T. tribute to Prince soon after his untimely passing in 2016....as Maxwell performed "Nothing Compares 2 U" .......as he sang " It's been 7 hours and 66 days since u took your music away" , " I went to the record store, Apple, Spotify too, and they told me "Boy you'd better try to make some music, which you can't do - cause Prince is the Truth!".....cause nothing Compares 2 U........whoever did not see that performance, please check it out ...it's very moving and heartfelt....and it is so true, Prince is the G.O.A.T....as a long time Prince fan ....I saw his greatness from the very beginning....back in 1978, all of our purple lives ...Prince has been bringing it....and for those who gave this video 4 thumbs down....I would have loved to take y'all 2 just one of Prince's live performances.... u would have been blown out of the water, out of the park and out of the canyon too. Lol I have been to many great concerts, but none of them can mesmerize like His Royal Badness ....Prince puts it down!!!! I wouldn't trade my life 4 anything because I was blessed 2 have seen his Purple Majesty 8 times possibly 9, I can't even begin to tell u what an experience that was .....thank God there many live performances of Prince on CZcams that are available to all.....All one has to do, is to delve into his treasure trove of music, to discover the genius of Prince Roger Nelsen.......
To quote Mr. DramaSydETV, “This here, this right here was fire”.
He makes the guitar talk with human emotions ❤
❤️❤️ Grew up on Prince.
Amazing performance. One of my favorites!
Purple rain my friend 👍
Nope Prince was way more than Purple Rain seriously
@@theteleisewilliamsexperience so no one else can hear because you don’t like it
Wow!!!
I'm pretty sure I'd not heard this song... but by about halfway through i was looking for a pen... sign me up! Phew!😈🤤
And I liked the mixing in of "I keep on Falling " caught me off guard too, but I liked it!
This is my favorite live version of this song and the one is included. Prince will always be the best live performer. His live shows are ❤️🔥🔥🔥
When he sings and plays his 🎸I get chills every time I watch this video 💜💜. I love and miss you Prince always 💫✨⭐️💜💜
I’d never seen this. Amazing. I am such a Prince lover that one of my COVID “projects” is putting together a survey of Prince’s entire career, from For You on. So far I’m at 185 songs, as far in as Indigo Nights (live, 2008).
If you are a fan of Prince like that, sub to my other channel, I’m gonna do the Prince rabbit hole including all protégés and covers a daunting task, but fun for prince fans
Love it, what’s the name of the channel?
I had the opportunity to see Prince twice in my life. The Purple Rain tour and then around 2005 or 06. Now back in 9th grade I was a heavy rock fan. Thought there was no other music. Then his song 1999 song came out. Believe I was in 9th grade then. 1980 ish. I was a HUGE Prince fan since. I recall taking slack from my friends then. Lol. Prince's music opened my soul to a vast variety of music. There is one song that did not make sense to me until learning of recent events and I believe explains why he shaved Slave on his head and that is the song "7" When he died (Im not a star struck person) part of my soul and heart left with him.
YOU DAMN RIGHT. He's in the running for the title of G.O.A.T. no question. (See what I did there)
Please please please more PRINCE!! Just subscribed in anticipation 💜
Agree 💯💜🎶 O(+>🎶💜Saw him live 25-30 times depending on how you count it. Preshows, concerts, and after parties. 2 week long Celebrations at Paisley Park. He was a genius and a wonderful human being. I miss him.
Loved the reaction brother!
If u had been to a live show u'd understand how those moments when 'he plays with his food' are necessary for both the band and the audience as we all got some rest to recover. his concerts were all high high energy
This and Joy in Repetition 🥰
I don't know if you've seen the live version from 1990 (I think it's actually the official video too) but that's phenomenal as well.
Prince is and was the best musician of all time. He had no equals sorry Mj fans but not sorry!
He is that good that it aint even close to one of his best performances....like i said, he is unmatched , his weakest performance would still be a career highlight to many a most artists of any generation an genre.... been a fan since 10 years old ,in 43 years old now ,iv seen many come an go but none that had inspired as many future artists and sounds as he had... mate go back and listen to all my dreams off the sott album.. that tune is trully timeless ,that album in my opinion is the greatest album ever made even ahead of thriller purple rain an off the wall.. all of which are in my top 10
Prince is a God, a God of music.
Name one thing he couldn’t do? His catalog is vast, there’s 40 albums on sites right now. He use to release an album every year. Don’t even start on his vault, he said we would never listen to every song In there 💜💜
After his death i discoered him through youtube randomly. And he became one of the musician that i love the most. He was on his on lane, in terms of his music and his individuality. btw i love your reaction cuz u simply absorbs the song, not puasing every 4 sec :D ty for that
I knew the name and a couple of song titles. Thank you. I should have been listening to him , absolutely one of the Greatest guitar players ever.
songs might be better with out the video
Try finding him playing the song Shhh from the same concert…Detroit 2004! Loads of great guitar and awesome drums from John Blackwell 💜
Definitely gonna check it
"Stop playing with yo food!" 😂😂
We were robbed! One of dozens of favorite performances online.
I’ve enjoyed watching your facial expressions... You do realize that his guitar solo is “the sound” of a couple having a serious conversation, and anything real has ups and downs - it’s Beethoven era expression...
“is” should have been in there... sry...
However, the power in this live medley is the VOCALS that create the emotional journey about love between a couple.
Like I said, even the guitar solo was Beethoven era expression-style for a couple having a serious argument.
If you didn’t expect a female vocalist to duo with Prince, sadly you may have missed the entire message.
I’m sure by now you’ve watched the full concert in Detroit Michigan, where this is from. If not check out the DMSR performance 💜💜
The GOAT
💜💜
Real music.
Marshall Tucker Band has been giving this big guy, the "feels" since high school in the late '70s. Nice, heartfelt, reaction! Mush appreciated.
America Live where he plays drums at the end, Forever In My Life SOTT movie, Sticky Like Glue 2010 Somewhere in Europe not sure
Prince will be moved to my other channel as a song by song journey, I was not happy with the reception here
This was from the Graffiti Bridge soundtrack IIRC. This was a really deep song if U listen 2 the lyrics.
For those who know his guitar style ... you understand he had no equal
This clip is really more about LIVE vocals. If you want some serious Prince guitar, check out Prince at the 2004 Music Hall of Fame Awards Show - apparently the very best performance MHF has ever had.
G. O. A. T.👑💜💜💜💜💜💜💜🕊️
U should do Shhhh from 2002 Japan or Detroit 2004. Creep 2008 Coachella. Purple House Rave New Years Eve show Lil Red Corvette Monterex Music Festival 2009. Girl from NSJ 2011. Any live performance of The Love We Make. Colonized Mind, The Ride 2002 Las Vegas, Gingerbread Man 2011 LA Forum
Let's talk Prince, shall we? I'm a hard rock guy, but not a dummy. I know talent when I see it. Became aware of him with 1999 and Purple Rain. Those were great albums, but he's WAY more than just the hits. His guitar playing doesn't get the praise it requires. And his songwriting skills are as diverse as they come. Go listen to Bat Dance. What a brilliantly composed, intertwining masterpiece of funk, rock, and soul. But if you really want to see his genius, listen to Sign O' the Times. In my opinion, his best, most diverse, and powerful writing. It was his masterpiece, his White Album. Genius.
I knew there was a reason I liked you 😁 preach, on my other I will doing a deep dive
@@DramaSydETV He's worth it

Correction: First there's the same video that goes on for another maybe 10 seconds longer then this one cause this one got cut off just short of the other version I'll get it and post it here.... 2nd.... Prince will NEVER be a ONE OF anybody else he is a ONE ONLY there is was and will always be only a BEST and that is PRINCE... they keep comparing MJ, they have since the beginning, and as good as MJ was he will NEVER be Prince no one ever will be either he's a one of a kind he was anointed by God plain and simple. Show me any video where MJ ever played the guitar like Prince or ANY instrument at all? Prince did it all played it all everything that man ever laid his beautiful hands on he did with perfection. He is A#1 always was always will be no disrespect to anyone else but Prince is head and shoulders above and beyond EVERYBODY else no one can hold a candle to him. There are a lot of dudes who think there Gods gift to women but this man was a true and very real gift to us all. He really was the real thing and the total package highly intelligent, down to earth, an extremely giving man, a decent man, a loving man, a God fearing man.... I could go on for hours writing about the kind of man he was here.... I love that man mind body heart and soul no one else like him a true original God made him the way he was is and will always be for a purpose and Prince more then lived up to that purpose, hes the greatest example, next to when God Himself walked this earth, of what a human being should be that I have ever seen ever no human being has ever been my hero except that human being. May the Good Lord Bless him for all of eternity. Peace. :) Watch the last few seconds see if it helps. :) czcams.com/video/8vyOIMyY14M/video.html
Even eric clapton was asked "how does it feel to be the greatest guitarist in the world?" He replied, "i dnt know, you'd have to ask prince!"
