    Hey Everyone, Just want to clarify I used Bisquick Baking Mix for this recipe, Not All purpose flour, if using all purpose flour the quantity may be less since it's denser than Bisquick Baking Mix.

    Metric measurements:
    240ml milk
    120g butter
    100g caster sugar
    190g white chocolate
    1tsp vanilla
    2 eggs
    260g plain flour
    2tsp baking powder
    1tsp bicarbonate of soda
    Because I hate cups as much as you do 😉

      Thanks for that. I get the stick measurement but not the cup measurement for butter. Hard to do with hard butter. I live in Ireland. I always just convert it. I use scales most of the time but cup measurements are handy when in a hurry.

      @@godsandmonsterz-7831 It was moist when baked fresh but once refrigerated, it chilled to a pound cake consistency still moist but denser. All in all it was one of the most delicious cakes I've tasted.

      *update, i tried this and it turned out perfect! make sure to measure ingredients correctly because the first time I made it, i added too much baking powder and my cake didn't rise, second time i measured and it turned out perfect!

    Would it be ok to put less sugar? Or is it a fundamental part in the structure of the Cake?

    Hey so I made this with baking powder as per the recipe and the cake didnt really rise!! It was kinda thin but with the chocolate mud cake I used baking soda and it rose so much. I think I’ll try this again with baking soda. Did you not use baking soda? Interesting if it rose without it ..

      Yes you do, I also recommend using parchment paper to help it not stick.

      Yes, that is why it says to let cool for a few minutes before adding the eggs.

      I used a mixture of baking mix and all purpose flour. But it comes out just as good with all purpose flour alone.

    Instead should have beaten them separately and then mixed with flour and mixture

      Sorry to hear that, i'm not sure as to why that happened, maybe you opened the oven door to check on the cake? That is one of the main reasons, or a little too much baking powder was added, it also happens if your baking powder is old. Hopefully this helps!

      happened to me, because I added baking powder without measuring correctly and accidentally went a little overboard with it. I remade the batter and made sure i measured correctly and it turned out perfect the second time around.

    Did not come out good. The colour of the cake was white. Not turned brown. Also it was liquidy inside.

      It sounds like it would have to bake a little longer if it was still liquidy inside and didn't have color. Mines took about 25-30 minutes to bake but that time can vary depending on your oven.
