Can't agree more, I saw him back in the days in Milan with Maiden and he approached the role with respect and humbleness, he knew first that it was a stretch for him to cover Bruce position but he worked his ass off and being a great Maiden fan I truly appreciated and btw X factor and Virtual 11 had great song which totally worked with his voice. All the best to Blaze and the new song smashes !!

… Quick story about Blaze Bayley & his awesome fans. I seen him in London,Ontario,Canada about 6-7yrs ago by now at a small venue called “East Sides Bar”. It’s small but the professional p.a. system & great sound guy make it an awesome evening 🤘 I also had the privilege of meeting Blaze after their gig & i bought a nice t-shirt & cd in which he kindly signed for myself & last but not least he took a picture with me 🤙
God, this man is incredible, I listened to random songs from his discography and I loved all his songs ! Except Ghost in the Machine, I don't like it very much but it's still a great song, Blaze is definitely one of my favorite artists
The thing I love most about Blaze and what sets him apart from too many others is he gets it. He understands the point of what he's doing. To be ONE with the music. So many use music as a means to sound cool or put a social message out there, or complain about the opposite sex. While those are ways to use music, the problem is it's empty in that you could swap that performer out and nothing is lost, because it's about something other than the artist in question.
Blaze, on the other hand, uses music to speak from the heart. He's putting what he truly thinks, feels and believes into every word. Sure, someone could do a cover of this song, but, if it's not Blaze singing it, something IS lost. Someone else could sing this note-for-note but you'd feel nothing while here I can feel Mr. Bayley's very soul.

My grandfather had bypass surgery at 62 after one hospital declared him a lost cause and wouldn't perform the surgery. He survived another 32 YEARS after that. He flat refused to die. Keep fighting, Blaze Bayley, and keep inspiring us.

I am LOVING all the songs released so far. My father-in-law just had triple bypass surgery this week and is starting his road to recovery. Thankfully it all went well. Then I remembered that Blaze had his surgery too less than a year ago. I loved him in Maiden and his post Maiden stuff has been amazing.
