I feel that Steve Harris could've molded Maiden to suit Blaze's voice and still have a successful band. In a way, I am glad that things happened the way they did, now we have BLAZE with an awesome voice and awesome albums to listen over and over
I totally agree. X-factor would have been better had they turned down to his voice.
I have always had the opinion that it was Harris’ fault for The X Factor and Virtual XI’s faults (as well as Bruce’s dissatisfaction with the band)
X-Factor for me was the best Maiden album of the '90s. I thought the sound perfectly matched Blaze's voice and overall tone of the albumn.
Hardly, he's not very good at singing and lacks charisma - nice guy by the looks of it, but he isn't in the top leagues. Dickinson is in a totally different league both voice and live performance.

This is the first Bayley song I heard since Virtual XI. Goddamn his voice is amazing.
You should really check out his solo stuff, he recorded a lot of great stuff since he's away from maiden.

I agree. Maiden did Blaze great injustice in that they played their older material in original key, it didn't fit Blaze's register and thus he ended up butchering Hallowed be thy name et al. Blaze is a good singer in his own register, Maiden made him look bad. I must say I didn't understand this in the late nineties when I was a teen Maiden fan.

Blaze has great solo stuff. But I also have this itch that I’d love to see him sing for a Nevermore reunion. His voice matches Warren and would be really solid for their discography.
I really don't understand the reason why a lot of Iron Maiden fans still hate Blaze... He's been the scapegoat for years, told responsible of the band's decline, but he was light years away from being the only reason. He was a great singer AND a wise and kind man, as he never kept spite against the band, even the contrary happened. He was just there at the wrong time. This song proves how good he is !

I've had this song on repeat for about 4 hours today. It's a damn shame that Blaze doesn't have the audience he deserves. Imo he was the most unique singer Maiden ever had and one of the most talented in metal. The man just keeps getting better.
