I would recommend first reactions to all songs with the studio version first, then maybe the live version. The studio version is the bands definitive version, then live they might improvise or just have a bad performance.

Saw Floyd first in 1973 40 plus years later for me they are still the greatest rock band of all time.

Floyd are fave band,I was at Earl's Court for one of the fourteen nights in '94. I think best gigs ever. I am however jealous of my mates older brother who The Wall live. (I was born in '72.)🏴❤️🏴❤️🏴

Half century old music that was performed a quarter century ago.... yet blows away any music production in 2021 by a grand canyon sized margin! The question now is not how.....thats obvious when one watches their incredible performances. The real question is why? On what other planet would people give up a plethora of outstanding musicians and live performances for what we have today? Gilmour presents himself on stage in just
blue jeans and a plain T-shirt. Same cloths he wears when he washes his car. My point? If you can't bring it.... don't try to bling it.

LOL I saw them later but for the most part the lightening blocked them out cuz I was mesmerized by the band 🤦🏻♀️🤣🤣
There WAS a 'live' audience there. They were probably pretty stoned ...( I know I was....) & just chillin' by that point. This was during the 2nd half of the show. Pink Floyd had already done several old hits.....THEN the entire 'Division Bell' album ....taken a break....THEN returned to do the 'Dark Side of the Moon' album in its entirety.....followed by 'Comfortably Numb' & 'Run Like Hell'. I'm guessing that the whole thing lasted for over 3 & 1/2 hours.
Thank you for reacting to this amazing performance! There actually was an audience there (the Pulse shows always had an audience) but for whatever reason they don't show them during this particular performance. Probably my favorite part is the background singers breaking it down in the middle. So soulful!
Dick Perry on sax. the ordinal sax player on " dark side of the moon'. he was a studio musician at the time. Dave hunted him down ( he was shoeing horses) and ask him if he want to go around the world with the band. DAH !!!!!!!!!

Well I enjoy your company I'm a veteran and I suffer from post-traumatic stress disorder. And I only sleep about 3 to 4 hour's a day. So you keep me company. Animals Album. It's definitely trippy.
You need to peep Have a Cigar, Wish You Were Here, and that whole album. You’re just at the tip of iceberg! The Wall and Animals are brilliant too but a lot of these you should experience the recording. Comfortably Numb- you need to do live and studio: one of the most emotional and beautiful songs ever created in any genre of music

Had to play with one of his most famous solos to give it a bit more kick at the end. The album version is PHENOMENAL and a lot of left/right stereo stuff, every instrument is in a different spot in your headphones! Whole Dark Side Of The Moon is like that. Should listen to it, start to finish, in the dark, with or without being in an “altered” state, with headphones and no interruptions. Great album!!!!
I actually listened to it during an album review all the way through, not in the dark, semi distracted BUT with headphones!!! A GREAT listen!!! I have to listen again with my undivided attention!!! 🤗

No audience, come on, within the first 15 seconds they show them 5 times and when you press play you not only see them but you can still hear us cheering the previous song which from the lights I would say it was ' any colour you like ' , rant over, other than that I enjoyed your reaction and enthusiasm for the music.

Nice reaction, you are just barely touching the surfaced with PK..! I highly recommend another band that I think you will enjoy. RUSH, powerful trio from Canada ! They have very similar approach to making music to Pink Flouy, they don't sound like PK but they make smart music, also they are without a doubt one of the most talented musicians rock has ever produced and may be the best drummer of all time, check the link..!

I’m so not a “shit on current music” type person cuz there’s so much great stuff out there right now, but,,, BUT,,, bands are just not this great anymore. It’s factorization of talent.
That’s why I’m so excited for the Silk Sonic album. Artists need to start forming super squads.
Billie Eilish, Trent Reznor and Thom Yorke need to colab for an album.
I realize there's a fad amongst reaction video channels to cover Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, etc. But c'mon, the song came out in '73 and you're showing a concert clip of them as senior citizens 40-50 years later without the original lead singer and bass player on the song. These were hits by guys in their early 20s, play the recordings of them in their youth and prime. It's not music created by old people.
And you're just scratching the surface.... Pink Floyd music.... an out of body experience
