After my wife and I were married, I sometimes accidentally referred to her as my girlfriend from time to time, and she would get mad because she was now my wife. My comeback was, "Does being my wife mean that you are my ex-girlfriend now?" She didn't like that, so we agreed that she is now my girlfriend, AND my fiancee, AND my wife.
So yes, the title "Girlfriend Reviews" still applies. ;-)

This is a perfect time to remind people that you definitely shouldn't just spring an engagement on someone. It should be done the way Shelby and Matt did it, meaning that you definitely should talk about it beforehand.
Yeah. The moment itself can still be a surprise moment, but you should definitely have had the discussion of whether or not it should even happen and if it's what you and your partner want.
Also don't do a super public proposal! ...equally don't do a super private one, there's pressure either way. If you're doing it in a crowd the other person is pressured to say yes, if you're doing it in the wilderness, they're also pressured to say yes...because of the implication.
I’ve never been in a relationship serious enough that it could have realistically been a marriage. But surprise or not, it is bizarre for me that anyone would propose to a woman they didn’t know well enough to know how they’d react (you want to marry someone yet you don’t know how they respond to romantic gestures?).
@Area Man As long as it's right for both you and your partner and you already know that they'll say yes. Basically we're just saying don't be the guy who proposes out of nowhere on a kiss cam at a football game and makes the girl either say no and look like an asshole in front of a thousand people or lie and need to backtrack later.

Whenever I see comments about "When is it going to become Wife Reviews?" I can't help but think of the Space Boyfriend character in Omori, whose name in the boss fights would keep changing to "Space Husband" or "Space Ex-Boyfriend" ect depending on whatever his relationship was to Sweetheart in the story at that point. This thing is constantly reminding me of one of the most depressing games ever.
My mom and I watch these videos and play games together and whenever we want to start a new game we always see if you two have a review first. (also, couple pro tips from our wedding planning:
1) Get a unique email you'll both have access to for wedding planning to avoid spam in your regular inbox and having to forward each other stuff all the time.
2) Save all the invitees and their addresses in one place, like an excel sheet, and use it to print off sticker labels for the save the dates, invites, etc. It saves SO MUCH hand cramping and it's way harder to accidentally forget someone!)
