You should try reacting to the PS2 equivalents of some of these scenes. I believe the original version of the MC's awakening is still something of a work of art to this day.
I'm gonna be playing P3P, is it a ton different from the PS2 game or am I about to do all three? Hahaha
P3P doesn’t have animated cutscenes. Well it does have cutscenes but they aren’t 'animated'.
@@ChocolateKieran P3P doesn't have the PS2 versions' animated cutscenes. My guess is they couldn't fit them (and the potential variations for the FeMC) into the UMDs at the time.
@@ChocolateKieran To list things out:
• In terms of gameplay in everyday life sections, it's more like a point and click adventure game and the look is sort of compressed to fit the PSP at the time
• In terms of gameplay in battle, you don't have shift or theurgy and light and dark moves are now chance based insta-kills unlike in P3R
• Cutscenes are not in the game but I'm pretty sure you can mod them back into the game
• Dialogue and voice acting is a uhh well different but there are some amazing performances from the previous VAs

Seeing new people get into P3 story just makes me so happy and on a subbing spree. God I love this game from the very first one. If only Persona 1 & 2 gets remade, I'm sure it would be so much better to see people's reactions too.

This is just my opinion on it, but Takaya just there watching chidori die, it's probably his own way to see through Chidori's choice of her own ending.

The characters of P3 are willing to curse (unless they cut stuff out for reload since all the boys swear in FES) whereas Ryuji had to wait for another game to do it lol
Now that you've finished the game I can say this with confidence.
The final boss sounds and looks better in PS2 and PSP.
There... there's only 2 awakenings
Yeah that kind of surprised me, I thought they'd all have big cutscenes like that. I'm gonna do a whole awakening reaction video with the rest in too though
