who doesnt??and because i dont get this kinda family,,so i will not make my son dont get it either ,so im going to be that kinda family to my son..💓💓🧡🧡🧡❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Anytime I see people performing this it literally just melts my heart!! Knowing how much that means in their culture and then how much heart they put into it!! It always gets me in my feels!!! You’re extremely loved, blessed, and highly favored!!❤❤❤
I don’t know what this means but I can see the honor this young woman is feeling as tears swell up in my eyes. The passion the performers express runs deep from their ancestors. Family tradition builds lasting family character…… 💯❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤❤❤ CONGRATULATIONS 🎉🎊
Always remember who you are and where you come from . This is a wonderful example of that . Some people practice their culture other live their culture.
I remember seeing a group of men do a Haka in Auckland airport when I was leaving ( I lived in NZ for 5 years and I had never seen anyone do a Haka outside of school) it I was really cool to see
I don’t speak the language let alone understand what they were saying but it was in their dance it was in their face it was in the way they spoke their native tongue that let me know it was deeper than any show that they could’ve put on for anybody and to me it was like a sendoff prayer to see I believe her father hold her like he did it’s beautiful how you can learn the love through different cultures shown great job guys❤
I believe it's because women have a different way to dance haka which is this standing up position, with one leg in front, and less clapping on their body ;) Also mentionning that the hakas are a lot related to men, but there are many differents type of haka, some are for the men only, some can be dance by boths, and some are only for womens ! :)
Also adding that besides the traditionnal women form of the dance that can seem a bit done with less effort, you can see the dedication on her face ahah
For anyone wondering this is called the haka it's a Māori tradition it's a dance normally done in groups and to welcome distinguished guests, or to acknowledge great achievements, occasions, or funerals. (tag?)
Wow so beautiful I have never seen or heard of this! But I wish I had that kind of love and dedication in my life! I just wish I knew the meaning and what they were saying! So much emotion her dad in the middle is so proud! ❤❤

Like am British and that made me quit emotional bc of how beautiful that was, words cannot describe the level of love and respect that family has for her
Apparently it has some meaning cause its very emotional. Today, globalization & the internet makes that most of big cities all over the world are basically the same and western traditions replacing local culture in wedding and other life events so im glad when local culture manages to subsist
From what I've read haka is done at funerals as well as celebrations. She may return the favor of all the Hakas he had done raising her with a final goodbye haka to her father's funeral. A powerful, meaningful, goodbye in his honor.
I’m Mexican and I got emotional feeling all the love and emotion her dad put into that. You can feel how proud he is of her.
Me too
Love? He's literally screaming at her lmfao
@@nickrich462 its of love though-
Tf does this have to do with being Mexican? Māori are from New Zeeland lol

You spelled embarrassing wrong. I'd die of embarrassment if this ever happened to me.
I felt embarrassed 🤣
Yes!!
its intense and crazy... but i wish I had that kinda family in my life as a kid...
who doesnt??and because i dont get this kinda family,,so i will not make my son dont get it either ,so im going to be that kinda family to my son..💓💓🧡🧡🧡❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

I knew that was dad in front!!! Or the top man in her life. So much emotion !!!!! Love it!!!
I don’t know what this means but I can see the honor this young woman is feeling as tears swell up in my eyes. The passion the performers express runs deep from their ancestors.

The love and protection shown from the males in her family is extremely heartwarming.
How awesome to have that kind of support in your life at any age, but especially when you're young.

You know it's good when this type of stuff just takes you to a different plane of existence where a CZcams Short feels like a full music video lol.

How do you know they aren't Samoan?

THE MOST IMPORTANT ONE YOU NEED IS CHRIST.
WORSHIP JESUS NOT MAN. HE IS ALL YOU NEED.
@@yeshuaischrist9951get out of these comment sections man, respect to ur religion but it has nothing to do with this
I’m Māori but I live in Australia, the only Māori person here is my dad, and it’s sad because he doesn’t show us and teach us much abt our culture
Love this❤️
For those who are confused, the women perform the haka differently to the men, to sum it up the men just do it more intensely intensely
What a blessing
Wow this so dope
