We need a guy with +.800 OPS
OPS is a poor and misleading stat to judge hitters by. Onbase percentage while having a sub 20% k rate should be the focus.
Trade for renifo at minimum to be a Al west winning team and Luis Robert jr and mason miller and that’s a World Series team!!
Rengifo and Robert are not healthy athletes and their respective teams are going to ask the moon for them.
No point in getting an expensive player cuz they won't pay them
Chisholm/De La Cruz/Bell/Scott/Weathers should be the target package from Miami if they do trade with them.
That might require a 3 team trade to get that done so they can move Garver/Polanco/France to offset salary.
We need 1 more hitter and arm.
I say we get Varsho (Blue Jays) and have a nice trifecta of Arizona Diamondbacks on the team. Plus on days hes not in LF he can be the Catcher while Cal has a day off to DH.
They do need a couple bats. And hopefully Luis Robert is NOT the best hitter they acquire. IF they add him and another bat that is a bit stronger I would be ok with that.
I can see us trading Canzone and France, plus a couple top 10 prospects for players like Robert Jr, Rengifo or similar. I think Locklear is our solution at first (at least I hope so) so I don't see the need for Alonso anymore, unless you DH him all the time. I think the real position of need is RF and possibly 2B as I don't see Bliss being the guy yet.
Mason Miller or a few of the White Sox relievers would be good.
I won't trade Canzone. We all know what he can do with fast balls and now he has recently started to figure out the off speed pitches. He's gonna be huge for this team!

I would trade Jonathan clase, Hancock, canzone, Moore for Luis Robert Jr that’s 4 young players for a price of 1

I love that batting lineup I believe they are missing a power cleanup hitter that can hit homeruns and that’s where Luis roberts comes in he should be fully healthy in the 2nd half of the remaining schedules. I would not trade Ford, Young, Emerson, Felinin, Montes, Arroyo, and the rest

Nope, nope, nope. No more expensive bats, because Polanco & Garver need to earn their checks first. McMahon from COL would be my want. Plays multiple positions and is a steady bat. Won't break the bank or deplete the minors. I'd wait for Santos for an arm.

I say get a better #2 catcher(bat). Add Dejong and ask him to play 3b, move Rojas to a utility role. Re-acquire Sewald. Jazz was rated by his peers as the most over rated player. dont need a RP who they can straighen him out. Need a ready to roll BP arm
